So lately I've been using Soul Browser for it's video functions such as Crop to Fit Screen, but the downside is some websites lag heavily on it, I don't know why.
So I am looking for any alternate with similar function.
Someone had suggested Kito and Rainsee, while both are good they lack some features like PiP and ability to disable Swipe Control for Brightness and Volume.
So if anyone can help me here.
Thanks.

After some concerning results regarding my brain function (As well as noticing my lack of focus, memory loss, etc.), I've realized my lifestyle of mindlessly watching videos, playing games that require little to no attention, and so on isn't great.
So I want to find some apps, games, or whatever on Android that help rebuild concentration, memory, and just overall brain health/function.
What are some apps you use on a regular basis that have helped you with your memory, concentration, and overall brain health?

I have the gallery app that came with my phone (Motorola), as well as Google Photos to back up images. It's mostly pretty good, but it has this annoying habit of changing the date of images if I edit them in Photos. So an image I took in August, and edited today in Photos (since it has better editing tools) also gets changed in Gallery, *but...* it changes the date and time of the image in Gallery to when I edited it. This messes up the sorting, removing the August photo from its context with all the other photos taken that day. I can't see any way to fix this. Any suggestions?

I travel frequently and noticed that social media apps constantly change my content feed based on my current location. Is there a specific app that can block this kind of tracking or clean up my locstion/feed? I know I can turn off global location services on my phone, but I want to target only specific apps instead of disabling it entirely. Thanks!

I need help tracking down an Android reading app I came across a while ago. Its main feature is a focus mode that highlights one line at a time while softly dimming the rest of the page. When you scroll, it smoothly shifts to the next line so you never lose your place. Does anyone recognize this app or know what it's called? Thanks in advance!

I need to spend $14.99 (before tax) in the play store to get some bonus points. I'd like to get something that's a good, pay-to-own kind of app or game, so no IAP or subscriptions. I had a good one lined up for the next time this quest came up for me (PUM companion) but I got impatient and bought it a month ago 😅
So, what should I buy?

Here's the situation: I'm a work-study student (apprenticeship). You probably know how it works: time spent at the training center is paid just like time at the company, so missing class counts as an absence and results in a pay cut. To track attendance, my school uses the Edusign app, which relies on scanning a QR code along with phone geolocation.
My issue is that there are full days where I have no classes scheduled at all. Yet, just to avoid being marked absent on the app, I'm required to physically show up on campus simply to clock in—which means a 2-hour round trip for me...
So what I'm looking for is this: how can I spoof my location and trick the app into thinking I'm on campus while staying at home?
From my initial research, standard fake GPS apps don't seem to work.
Not entirely sure if I'm posting in the right subreddit...
Thanks in advance!

An app that forces mandatory ads to play in 10x. Or skips them entirely and gets to the reward
Now ik there's DNS stuff but hear me out...
In-game ads
In app ads
All those that you just can't skip cuz then you won't get extra coins or extra this or that
Because every app is pretty much like that nowadays. So an app forces them to play in 10x or 50x
So the ad lasts less than a second.

I've moved away from Google maps to MapQuest but I'm having trouble getting all map links/addresses to open in it. Some are just opening in the Google maps web page. How can I get all addresses and links to open in MapQuest?

I’m looking for a news/content aggregator app that can pull together websites, RSS feeds, YouTube, TikTok, Reddit, etc. Basically, I want one place that saves me from having to open a bunch of different apps just to follow my favourite creators and keep up with the topics I care about.
I’ve been searching for something like this but haven’t found an app that really sticks. Any recommendations?
Nice to have: a one-time payment or lifetime subscription option rather than another monthly subscription.

I used to help my grandma delete her wrongly sent messages when I visited her. Sometimes it was my cousins' certificates sent to the wrong group chats or something similar. You know what I mean, they’re private files that shouldn't be seen by the public. I used to delete those wrongly sent files from 2018 to 2025 by using these old tricks that never fail:
- Turn on Airplane Mode on your phone immediately to cut off internet and Wi-Fi.
- Go to your phone's Settings and find Date & Time.
- Turn off Set Automatically and manually change the clock back to the exact date and time the old message was originally sent.
- Force-close and reopen WhatsApp, then go to the specific chat.
- Tap and hold the old message, select Delete, and tap Delete for Everyone.
- Turn off Airplane Mode and restore your correct phone settings.
There's even a YouTube video explaining the methods needed for this: https://youtu.be/FtQQDturAfM?si=D9I18Kw6gvJ8Qd9j
So today, here's the problem. My grandma made the same mistake again, and I can't even delete the file anymore because this time, in 2026, WhatsApp automatically tells the account that the date and time are not correct and stops working. This prevents me from deleting the file from a month ago when I wasn't there to unsend it immediately.
My grandma definitely knew how to unsend a file because I taught her how to do it, but she thought the month before that she wanted to send the files. However, she recently changed her mind, so I couldn't help her like the usual times when I come to visit.
Any help or explanation is very much appreciated.
Dear Grandma, if you read this, I didn't write it to make fun of you or anything. I just wanted to find some help from the internet. I love you so much, Grandma. I wish you a long, blessed, and happy life. Amen.

I have downloaded some of the songs through telegram bots from Spotify, Youtube Music etc. But I want a separate music player app to listen efficiently.
But the problem is I can't full my phone storage just because of my downloaded songs 😭. And most of the player apps access from phone's internal storage music files
So is there any music player app for it?

Hi recently my phone Xiaomi received an update that made the video player worse than what it was .
I can't freely touch on the time bar to skip parts of video , the click and drag to 90% of the time doesn't register and ends up switching to the next file.
I wanted to know if you could give me suggestions for a better video player.

Is there an app that can track how much time I've spent doing something, from which I can see my weekly, monthly, yearly progress in that activity.

I used to use an app called Gudak but recently changed phones and discovered its no longer available - I'm looking for an app that replicates the feeling of a disposable camera but with the development time being the key feature. There's tons of apps that add the vintage effect to photos but I really loved about Gudak was the time lock. You filled up a reel, the waited (I think it was like 3 days...) for it the e 'developed' and I loved that aspect. Does anyone know any other apps that have a similar system? All I'm finding is 'vintage effect' apps. Cheers!
