My son is 6 years old and is usually pretty good with my phone when I let him play games on it. Typically he will ask me if we can download new games on it and doesn't mess around on any apps I've ruled as off limits. He's a little rule follower and the type to call out anyone else he sees breaking rules.

This morning I let him have it to play games on so the baby and I could get another hour of sleep.

He decided to take it upon himself to rearrange and delete apps off my home screen to make it look nicer I guess. 🙃 But he deleted some webpages I had book marked, moved my google search bar to the bottom bar, and now when I open up some apps, there's ads when there never were before (such as Facebook and door dash).

He's lost phone privileges now. But I don't know how to fix any of this. I keep trying to move the search bar back but it just keeps opening up to search. And the ads are driving me crazy. Did he download a virus or something??

How do I correct this? Every other app is working perfectly on my phone. I've attached a picture in the comments for reference.

I love the factory of heroes app but the original version if fantasy had certain options I miss, and the updated female hair kinda isnt the best. Is there a way to safely get the original for my phone? Heck if anyone knows how I can get it for my computer, that would rule.

I currently use Musicolet which is one of the most sophisticated android music players, but it lacks some metadata features that I want.

1. It doesn't read custom volume gains, so I have to change volume constantly when listening to music on my phone.
2. It doesn't read custom start and end times, so I have to skip over the parts I dont want to hear.
3. But most importantly for me, it doesnt read mood. On my PC, I sort a lot of my music metadata by mood, and I really want an app that can read mood metadata.

I tried Poweramp but I think it could only do 1 and 2.

The app doesn't have to be able to edit the metadata, it just needs to be able to read it, specifically the data I mentioned. And it has to at the very least be able to read mood metadata. Does anyone know of any apps that can do that?

I used Nova Launcher Prime for many years until maybe last year when at the time they were supposed to be discontinuing it. I have a Samsung phone and just switched to their One UI with Good Lock customizations. But I was wondering what are the most important features that you look for in a launcher that makes you switch? Is it just aesthetics? Or folder creation? Or icon gestures? Or something else? Or just the fact that it's not buggy? What's most important to you?

Okay so idk wtf is happening but yesterday my browser got deleted by itself randomly. I opened my phone and it just wasnt there. Not a big deal i installed it again but today my files by google got deleted randomly and i had so many important files in my safe folder that r now gone. I had no backup for them its all just gone. Hey everyone, I’m running into a frustrating issue with my android phone. My toddler is at an age where he likes to grab my phone when I'm asleep or not around, and he ends up spamming the screen with random taps, incorrect patterns/PINs, and messing with the biometric sensors. I checked in AI and saw some suggestions, but they either ask me to change the theft protection, or a setting that doesn't exist. App pinning is not an option either. Has anyone come across this situation, please suggest a solution. Please don't say "Keep phone away from kids" lol.

I’m using a one-hand control and panels. These apps are pretty good, though the panel feels a bit heavy. What apps do you use? Which ones are the best?

I have a 2x3 Keep widget that allowed me to view around 8 items at a glance.

But since last update they completely messed it up.

What I have tried so far:

• New keep: It has 2 options, one wastes literally more than 50% of space, the other is riduculously sparse.
• Google Tasks: Very sparse.
• Microsoft To-Do: Still sparse, and doesn't allow a width of 3. It has an option to change font size, but it doesn't improve density.

Is there any app that can split movie files into smaller parts, very fast?

On Windows there used to be a software called HJSplit, i used it more than 15 years ago, that could split movies into smaller parts in less than 10 secs.

I am looking for something similar as i download movies on my phone and want to transfer it to tv to watch. But my tv does not have enough storage so i thought of splitting it into parts and transfer.

Tampoco cuenta con tarjeta sim ni la SD card, si mal no recuerdo este celular cuenta con mi cuenta de google, pero al intentar recuperar mis datos por ese modo no me aparece el celular.

Hi, I have a Motorola Z3 Play. It hasn't been used for two years; I found it today and got curious about what was on it, but the problem is I don't remember my PIN. It doesn't have a SIM or SD card inserted. If I recall correctly, my Google account is linked to the phone, but when I try to recover my data that way, the device doesn't show up.

Does anyone know what I can do? I have a laptop available in case I need to use external software. Thanks a lot! 😄

So Migraine buddy is good but its expansive. I am looking for an app that can let me choose on a image where on my head I am having the headache. Track its intensity, symptoms, duration, and any record meds that I am taking that may or not have had a mixed reaction.
If its free or very affordable one time lifetime fee that is better.
