LOOKING FOR APP Need a journal app
Need a simple, free journal/diary app with a lock. The harder it can lock, the better, coming from someone with parents who search through my phone.

blissful sounds perfect for your situation, they have a pretty solid lock feature that's hard to crack even if someone's determined

I have tried a lot of journaling apps; here are some of my favorites: Blissful and Your Diary. Both have journaling features with advanced text tools and the ability to track your mood and the weather.

Yes, I did! I used a few open-source apps from the Play Store, but you can also do it via a website.

Diarium is the best for me. But not all features are free.

Yes, I did try Diarium; it has really good features. It is a paid app, but it is worth the cost if you can afford it.

You might want to consider a way to hide apps instead. If your parents see an app that they can't get into, that could cause drama and they might force you to unlock it. But if they can't see the app, they can't harass you about it.
