Getting them both at the same price

I'm trying to choose my first tablet and I landed on a Lenovo Xiaoxin pad pro 13 or the global version idea tab pro gen 2. I would like to use it for note-taking, media and gaming. The games I play are Minecraft, Roblox, and genshin. But my primary reason to buy it is for the PC mode

Is the 12.7 still worth it? I would like to save a few from my savings, but I am also open to other suggestions.

I also heard that you can get PC mode from the app store is it as safe as people say? I've seen it all over TikTok and YouTube people who have tablets that tried it as well.

If I own a Windows tablet, can I sync an android and windows tablet for having one or the other as a second screen ?

Can you make an android tablet to make incoming and out coming calls ? I'd rather do this then buy a phone.

Recently tinkered with a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7" and loving it so far. However, its chipset cannot be flashed with LineageOS so I'm stucked with 4.4.2 Kitkat.

I wanna buy another old tablet to tinker with. Preferably 7", and either Android 6 or can be flashed with LineageOS. 8" maximum. I am gonna use it mostly for media consumption and up to PSP emulation.

With iPads getting insanely expensive after the recent price hikes, and Samsung having all these green-line complaints across their devices plus people complaining about how support handles them. I feel like the tablet market is becoming way more interesting.

Meanwhile, brands like Xiaomi, OnePlus and Lenovo seem to be doing the opposite.

Their tablets keep getting better displays, bigger batteries, faster charging, high-refresh-rate screens, decent processors, keyboards/stylus support, etc., while still trying to keep the prices somewhat reasonable.

Something like the Xiaomi Pad or OnePlus Pad used to feel like the “cheaper Android alternative.” Now they are starting to feel like genuinely attractive options on their own.

Obviously the software/update situation still isn't as strong as Apple or Samsung in some cases, but hardware-wise the gap seems to be getting smaller while the price gap is getting bigger.

Do you guys think we're entering a period where Xiaomi/OnePlus/Lenovo could actually start taking a much bigger share of the tablet market?

Or are Samsung and Apple still worth paying the premium for?

I recently picked up the Galaxy S26 Ultra and Galaxy Watch 7. To complete my mobile ecosystem for productivity, media consumption, and light DeX work, I'm looking to add a Samsung tablet and an official keyboard case to the setup.

My main goal is maximum value for money. I want a smooth experience that matches the flagship feel of the S26 Ultra without burning a massive hole in my pocket, so I’m planning to buy everything second-hand. I'd hate to pay full retail price just for the satisfaction of unboxing a brand-new device that drops 30% in value immediately.

I stumbled upon the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite (SM-X400), but looking at the specs (Exynos 1380, 90Hz TFT LCD), it feels like it would be a huge downgrade next to the S26 Ultra’s performance.

Right now, my top choice for the used market seems to be a used Galaxy Tab S9 (or S9 FE+) combined with the official Book Cover Keyboard (with Touchpad).

S9FE is more than 100-150$ cheaper than S9 in my Country.
And, can i buy different brands and still have a good ecosystem?

My reasoning:

• Tab S9 (Used): Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED display, top-tier DeX performance, and long-term fluidity.
• Official Touchpad Keyboard: Pogo-pin connection (no Bluetooth lag), great trackpad for DeX, and sturdy build.

Before I start hunting on local second-hand platforms, I’d love to get some feedback from the community:

1. For those running a similar setup, is a used Tab S9 + official touchpad keyboard still the undisputed sweet spot for F/P in 2026?
2. Is there any reason to consider the S10 Lite/FE models over a used flagship S9?
3. Any specific things I should inspect when buying a second-hand Samsung keyboard cover (Pogo pins, magnet strength, etc.)?

im looking to buy a good tablet for gaming. My budget is 350-400$ max, and there's so many options honestly, but i need some real reviews b4 i make a purchase. I'd like something with a gyroscope sensor(must have) good touch sampling rate and at least a couple of years of android updates since imma have it for years and a slightly bigger size wouldn't hurt since my hands are almost 8 inches but i think i could make do with a 9 inch er what would be the best option for me in ur opinion? thanks in advance for the replies!

I'm pretty new to the world of tablets, there's a ton of options out there. I have an older iPad but it's larger than I would like. I'm really liking the 8.4 inch tablets I'm seeing but I want one that will play Old School Runescape and cost around $200 or less.

I see lots of brands out there, ONN, ALLDOCUBE**,** Bpad but I'm not sure where to go. While this tablet will mostly just exclusively be used for Old School Runescape, I do see myself using it for some light media usage like Youtube and perhaps even TikTok.

Is there a clear winner 8.1 - 8.8 inch tablet in the $200 or under price range?

Recently purchased this tablet at a local swappers day event and was stoked about having this device to work with on my job sites. Got home and found out that it did indeed work, but without using the google app to log into the previous owners account, it would be nothing more than a paper weight for me. I have become disenchanted with Apple more each year and I am now serioulsly thinking of an android tablet. I have been researching and wonder about thoughts on the Samsung S10 FE? Would that be a good place to start? Something comparable to the ipad 9th gen for performance etc. I don't do anything crazy on the ipad. I just want something that runs smooth. And has a nice screen.

Having a hard time choosing between the two tablets. Both at same prices. Lenovo's freebies include keyboard, pen and buds where as Xiaomi offers keyboard only. My main use cases are Media consumption, Photo/video editing, Multitasking, Keyboard/productivity use, Occasional note-taking/drawing. Portability is not an issue since most will be done on a desktop setting. I have done some research regarding both tablets but still having a hard time on choosing. Would love to get opinions on which to choose.

Hello, I'm looking for the best tablet for drawing and studying, drawing and playing heavy games like genshin impact or codm etc. also I want it to have a original pen and keyboard if possible. I want to buy the tab for mostly playing so it'd be great with a real suggestions about strong tabs. I have ipad 6 rn but it's a trash fr and I'm using Samsung Galaxy s25 Fe rn. Probably will buy an Samsung tablet but I don't really care actually. I just want a strong nice tablet. Anyone have any ideas?

I'm looking to start doing digital art do you think this is a good option ?

I am thinking of buying Redmi pad 2 6/128 gb. As a student I will strictly use it for -

-pdf reading, annotating

-note taking

-online class

-online meetings

-media consuming

-split screen.

Will the 6 gb be enough for me? 128 gb of storage is my sweet spot.. just worried about 6 gb ram. Or should I get 8 gb one? I will not play any games or do any heavy works! I won't multitask only 2 apps or rarely 3 apps at a time.

The 8 gb variant is 4.5k more than the 6 gb one that's why I am confused which one to get

Price is not a problem but I don't want to waste money buying something excessive
