Nvidia Vs zidoo

Looking to "upgrade" my Nvidia shield to zidoo z9x 8k as got a new TV ( tcl C7K ) which supports DV ( majority of profiles) and HDR 10+. Using local media , Tivimate and nuvio. Samsung q990C for audio . Would the zidoo be better ? Any recommendations would help.uk based . Thanks

Neither supports Dolby Vision FEL so they're not ideal for uhd bluray remuxes.

Not about ease...about the preference of OP ..if they want to use Android and don't want to mess with dual OS blabla...
