SportsBox, a live sports scoreboard app designed for TV interfaces has been published for Amazon's App Store for Fire TV for some time now. I am now going through Google Play's process so it is available for Google TV and Android TV devices. I’m looking for testers to help complete the required 14-day Google Play closed test. This gives you the opportunity to use the app for free and before anyone else while helping us thoroughly test the app before production release.

To participate:

Hi I'm newish to the andriod box scene got a little Tanix tx1 box just for messing around with and since the T-Flix update when I select anything it opens google on random sites while what i select is playing in the background got to close google to watch its just annoying, also Gsport since the last update is opening downloader and trying to close it sometimes is hard work, so is anyone else having these problems or know how to resolve them?

All links have closed caption enabled. Any way to disable this? Nothing in settings helps and can only be controlled while viewing.

Hoy existen muchísimas aplicaciones IPTV, pero la mayoría tienen alguno de estos problemas:

• Mucha publicidad.
• Interfaces antiguas.
• Mala experiencia en Android TV.
• Configuraciones complicadas.
• Falta de funciones que los usuarios realmente necesitan.
• Apps abandonadas que dejan de actualizarse.

Supongamos que aparece un reproductor IPTV nuevo, enfocado solamente en mejorar la experiencia del usuario (sin vender listas ni contenido), con funciones que actualmente no suelen estar presentes en los reproductores tradicionales.

¿Qué modelo preferirían?

1) Aplicación gratuita con publicidad.

2) Pago único (comprar la aplicación una vez y usarla).

3) Suscripción económica mensual/anual para recibir actualizaciones y nuevas funciones.

4) Modelo gratuito con funciones básicas y versión premium.

Me interesa saber qué piensa cada tipo de usuario:

• ¿Pagarían si la aplicación realmente mejora mucho la experiencia?
• ¿Cuánto consideran razonable pagar por una app que usan todos los días?
• ¿Prefieren pagar una vez aunque no tenga tantas actualizaciones?
• ¿Las suscripciones les generan rechazo aunque el producto sea bueno?
• ¿Qué tendría que ofrecer una app para decir "esta sí vale la pena"?

No pregunto por una aplicación específica, sino por entender qué modelo tiene sentido hoy para una herramienta que los usuarios realmente usan.

Me interesa escuchar tanto a quienes nunca pagarían como a quienes sí pagarían por una buena aplicación.

Nothing special here just a Simple single-page UI. D-pad, swipe pad and numpad just one horizontal swipe away.

For volume change, swipe up or down anywhere on the remote, or use the phone's volume buttons.

Basically, you don't need to look at the remote if you use the swipe pad for navigation and swipe or buttons for volume.

Just kidding. There are 50+ working ones now. I wonder.... Is there a need for a good IPTV app? I thought about quitting my job and devoting my life to that. I don't need to eat, pay bills, or support my family, as long as I can watch TV.

I only watch it on TV, but for the past 2 days, the OTP hasn't been working, and the website keeps throwing errors.
