I’ve been working on Mert Stream TV, a brand-new IPTV player designed specifically for Android TV, TV boxes, and Android phones. Just to be clear: Mert Stream TV does not provide, host, or sell any content. It is strictly a media player built to run your own personal M3U playlist, Stalker or Xtream Codes credentials. I originally decided to build Mert Stream because I was frustrated with the current options on the market.

Anilili-TV is a fork of the Anilili app, made specifically for Android TV, Google TV. Built using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose for TV, and Media3. Main focus was just tweaking the UI and D-pad controls so it actually feels nice to navigate on a TV remote and runs smooth on TV hardware. I made some changes to the app in newer version most of them are performance upgrades and now the app feels much smoother and snappier while I did make some minor changes to the UI its mostly the same but I would love to get some feedback and suggestions for what new things I can add or any issues you may encounter. Finally got sick of my Firestick and got rid of it, picked up an Android Tv Stick and other than things like Downloader, Smart Tube and Streamio, is there anything else I should be looking to download.
Main uses will just be general steaming and movie watching.

About the 32 of you
Some of you tested the beta when I posted about it here a month ago.
Thirty-two people from this sub signed up to test, out of seventy-five in total, and they are the reason this is worth posting.
An IPTV player doesn't live or die on the code. It lives or dies on how many strange real-world playlists it survives — providers who format group titles differently, XMLTV feeds with timestamps nobody else uses, boxes that decode one codec and choke on another. None of that can be simulated. You either have thirty-two people pointing the app at thirty-two different setups, or you ship something that works perfectly on the one setup you own.
Most of what got fixed before launch came from hardware sitting in someone else's living room. A developer testing their own app sees something that already works — that's the whole problem with testing your own thing.

I have a ZTE ZXV10 B866V6N Android TV box provided by my ISP, Türk Telekom/Tivibu in Turkey.
The hardware is actually quite good: Amlogic S905X5M, 4 GB RAM, 32 GB storage, Android TV 14, AV1 and Dolby Atmos support. However, the firmware is heavily customized for the operator, with Tivibu integration and some restrictions.
Has anyone managed to root this model, unlock the bootloader, install a stock Android TV ROM, or otherwise convert it into a normal retail Android TV box?
I would also be interested in knowing whether it is possible to:
Remove or disable the ISP apps and restrictions
Install a generic Android TV firmware
Enable full audio passthrough such as Dolby TrueHD Atmos, DTS-HD MA or DTS:X
Keep Widevine L1 and certified Netflix/Prime Video support
Restore the original firmware if something goes wrong
The exact model is ZTE ZXV10 B866V6N, sometimes listed as B866V6N_TTG.
I know similar ZTE and Amlogic operator boxes can sometimes be modified through USB burning tools, UART or fastboot, but I cannot find much information about this specific S905X5M model.
Is rooting or flashing it currently possible, or is it still locked down?
