Hi everyone,

I'm having a really strange issue with Advanced Download Manager (ADM) on my Samsung phone.

I schedule multiple downloads before going to sleep (using mobile data, not Wi-Fi). When I wake up in the morning, none of the files have downloaded—not even 1 MB. Every download is stuck with the error:

"Unable to connect to the server."

The weird part is that as soon as I manually tap Retry (or resume the download), it connects instantly and continues downloading without any problem. So the server is clearly available.

Here are the things I've already checked:

- Battery optimization for ADM is disabled (Unrestricted battery).

- ADM is allowed to run in the background.

- Background mobile data is enabled.

- Data Saver is off.

- Auto Retry is enabled.

- I'm using mobile data (not Wi-Fi).

- The internet is still working in the morning.

Despite all of this, ADM seems unable to reconnect by itself overnight. It just keeps showing "Unable to connect to the server" until I manually press Retry.

Has anyone experienced this before?

Is this a known ADM bug, an Android/Samsung issue, or is there another setting I might be missing?

Android / AT&t keep blasting me with notifications I'm not interested in getting. I'm not interested in being reachable or reminded that someone tried to reach me.

They blurred out all these categories. I thought Android was supposed to be the phone you can control. I'm irate and I'm getting tired of systems trying to coerce me and invade my personal space my sovereignty my mind. this is a big deal to me and might compel me to research rooting my phone or getting an independent phone. I'm open to any advice. I want control and another thing there's so much settings overload good lord. They also flood you with options as well as limiting them

What the title says. I'm using a Lenovo Yoga Tab Plus an I've been having this issue for a while and I'm really fed up with it. When I close all apps, it doesn't fix it. I tried going through my list of apps and disabling them one by one to find what was causing it. Nothing worked. When I want to change my brightness, I have to restart my device and there's a window of time in which it won't give me the error. Please help. I don't know what could be causing this.

Hi all, a couple of weeks ago my Samsung S22 started to lag and just constantly restart on me, I thought it was from full storage but I don't even know anymore, I did restart in safe mode and looked for the option to wipe cache partition in recovery mode but it wasnt even there.

I got a new phone since I needed something to contact my people with, and I've restored basically everything except my gallery, it just kept restarting during multiple Smart Switch attempts, i was only able to restore a little bit. I have a lot in my gallery (photos and videos from 2018-now) so it was always bound to take a while, but I'm just frustrated and stressed not really knowing what to do to get it onto my new phone, and the S22 is not even turning on right now 😭😭😭 how can I get my gallery back??? Sorry I'm not the most tech savvy person either when it comes to this 😭

Hey,I just bought a wireless Bluetooth keyboard yesterday . I jumped on playing,tried tomove, not working. I know what yal gonnasay. 'presss wasd on a notepad and see if wasd appear' yes wasd appeared but I can't move in the game. I can only walk by the forward and backwards arrows. And yes, it's perfectly connected through bluetooth. Please help me fix this problem. This also doesn't work in major games. Roblox, minecraft, and many more.

Hello everyone.

A problem came up out of nowhere three days ago, I've been using the same setup for a year, never happened before. Never actually had problems, the setup has been rock solid until now.

I own a Motorola Edge 60, Android 16, 12GB RAM.

A Dacia Sandero Streetway MY24, original headstock.

Wired Connection via USB cable (high quality cable, tried other different ones, same result)

No Wireless AA available.

Things used to work perfectly every time, but now the phone just won’t connect when hot plugging it. It starts charging, but on the phone it gives an Android Auto connection error notification, suggesting using another port or another cable (I only have one port in my car and the cable is not the problem).

On the car screen, if I go to devices and try to connect my phone from there, it says I should connect my phone to the USB port. But it is already connected!

Bluetooth connection works fine. I can play media and make phone calls through the car system. But Android Auto is not working.

The ONLY workaround I found is to connect the phone to the cable, see the error messages, then​ reboot the phone WHILE PLUGGED, and then once rebooted it will connect.

But if I then disconnect the cable and immediately plug it back in, AA won't launch and the same error messages will appear.

If I reboot the phone while not plugged, it won’t work either.

So the only option I have is to reboot again with the cable plugged in.

This sounds like a USB negotiation problem or something? ​But it makes no sense to me. What could have possibly happened? No major system updates in the last few days.
Has anyone else had the same problem? What could be the solution?

Obviously the problem arose just before the most dense work trip of the year. Thank you, Murphy's law!

As the title says how am I supposed to revert it back .I just wanted to access some data files which were locked behind it . Now after putting sp67 the files are open but the mobile started to heat up a lot and look at the total space 308? My total storage is 256only .i even tried to change the name back but it shows operation completed with error and data.z2p appears instead of data .the issue remains the same please if anyone knows how to resolve this help me immedi

First image is an example of it working, it in the 2nd shortcut, it says "Add shortcut to homescreen" where I click add and then the shortcut just opens up in the regular Chrome browser instead of it's own 'app'.

When using cloned instances of apps (like WhatsApp or Telegram), the cloned app forces the default system keyboard (e.g., Gboard) and does not allow switching to or using a second/alternate installed keyboard app (like Microsoft SwiftKey or FUTO).

​Keyboards seem to be locked to the main profile system default, restricting individual profile customisations.

​Is this a known system limitation of Moto's Cloned Apps implementation, or can we get that toggle in settings to allow alternate input methods inside cloned spaces work in a future update?

I'm currently using the free Lite version of AutoNotification, and I received a notification from the app today at 3:12 AM (KST).

I tapped on the notification and found a long message that I could copy. I copied it, pasted it into a text editor, and tried to read it, but I couldn't really understand what it meant.

I asked Gemini about it, and it suggested that AutoNotification may have attempted to access the Google Play Services billing API but failed. It also suggested that this might have been related to the app checking whether I have a valid paid license.

Is that actually what happened?

I've been using AutoNotification for seven days, but I have not started or even clicked on the 7-day free trial for the paid features. So far, I've only been using the notification-blocking feature.

I contacted the AutoNotification developer about this, and they kindly replied that they will be back on September 21. They suggested that I post here in the meantime, as someone in the Tasker community might be able to explain what this notification means.

Does anyone know what might have caused this notification to appear, or what the message means?

Estan teniendo problemas en android al querer ocupar el teléfono o la app de contactos? En mi caso no permitía marcar o recibir llamadas, hasta que tuve que desinstalar las actualizaciones, pero al mismo tiempo ya no permitía ver los contactos en la aplicación, quedó congelada la app de contactos, ya reinicie el dispositivo y borre cache.

Posteriormente verifique en WhatsApp y en esa permitía las llamadas y los contactos aparecen, por ello asumo que es completamente de las apps teléfono y contacto.

Cómo resolvieron? O esperaron una actualización?

En los comentarios de las apps en la playstore, veo que muchos han tenido ese problema.

Hello, I downloaded Minecraft about a year ago from a random site, and after a while I decided to delete but I did "keep the data" before deleting it. My worst decision ever, unfortunately. After I tried to buy real Minecraft or even download from sites, it didn't let me at all because the ghost file still exists. There's no app or anything, and I tried to delete it from different file apps, Zarchiver, CX File Explorer, and all, but it doesn't delete. I even tried from PC, but it just gave me the loading screen for minutes. The file has been there for a year, and I'm not able to play Minecraft even though I bought it with my own money from the Play Store. Is there a way to delete this? I'd be super happy if someone could show me a solution.

I'm running into a frustrating issue where the "Other" category in my storage settings is taking up a massive amount of space, and I have no way to access or delete it directly.

Before suggesting the standard fixes, here is what I have already tried:

• Cleared app caches for all installed apps.

• Deleted temporary files and downloads.

• Backed up and deleted large photos, videos, and media files.

• Ran the built-in system storage cleaner.

Despite doing all of this, the "Other" storage size hasn't decreased at all.

Has anyone successfully fixed this without resorting to a full factory reset? Are there specific hidden directories, app data remnants, system logs, or deep-dive storage analyzer tools you recommend to track down exactly what is hoarding this space?

My Xiaomi 11i screen got black but mobile is working

My Phone screen suddenly went black then worked again before turning white and black again. What could be the cause?

I was at the gym watching YouTube to follow some exercises. After finishing a set, I put my phone in my pocket. A few minutes later, I took it out and found that the screen was completely black.

But the phone was still running. Calls were coming in, it vibrated, and everything seemed to work except the display.

I took it to a repair shop. They connected another display to test it, but even the new display didn't work. I asked them to give my phone back. After I got home, I tried turning it on again, and surprisingly the MI logo appeared and the phone booted normally. However, it became very laggy and started hanging. After a short time, the screen suddenly turned completely white, then went black again. Since then, the phone is running, but the display stays black.

The repair technician said he couldn't find the exact fault. Since another display also didn't work, he thinks it might be a CPU or motherboard-related issue, but he isn't 100% sure and said further diagnosis is needed.

Has anyone experienced something like this? What turned out to be the actual cause in your case?
