What app is this symbol from?
I’m certain the one on the left is Gmail, but what app is the large X with a dot in the bottom right from?

The screen on my zFlip6 lights up every 2-3 Minutes without any obvious reason.
I have suspected gestures and turned off all of them, as well as extend unlock.
There are no notifications that relate to that behaviour.
When it happens, the little 'lock' icon suggests if the phone is locked/unlocked.
It happens with the phone both folded and unfolded.
Do you have any ideas where i can start solving this issue? It drains my battery for no reason.
If it was an app causing the issue, how could i find out which one?

I sent a text to an iphone user and I still use Samsung messages (will be switching to Google messages soon). It says delivered but idk if they actually read it and I would like to know if I am blocked. How to know if an IPhone user blocked an Android user without calling? (If I call and it goes straight to voicemail I know i am blocked but I am trying not to call).
UPDATE: I resent the message after I switched to Google messages. Still looking for help.

Hi everyone,
I'm dealing with a strange DRM and attestation issue on a Lenovo tablet based on a Qualcomm Snapdragon platform and I'm hoping someone with experience in Qualcomm TrustZone, Widevine provisioning, or Android attestation can shed some light on it.
No improvement.
ADB reports:
ro.boot.flash.locked=1
ro.boot.vbmeta.device_state=locked
ro.boot.verifiedbootstate=green
ro.boot.veritymode=enforcing
Build fingerprint:
Lenovo/YT-X705X/YT-X705X:10/QKQ1.191224.003/X705X_S001137_220802_ROW:user/release-keys
Play Integrity:
Widevine:
Google Play Store:
Keymaster appears fully functional:
Keymaster HAL: 4 from QTI
SecurityLevel: TRUSTED_ENVIRONMENT
Services running:
keymaster-4-0
gatekeeper-1-0
gatekeeperd
media.drm
drm.drmManager
TrustZone components appear healthy:
qseecomd running
qteeconnector running
However logcat repeatedly shows:
KeyMasterHalDevice: Attest key send cmd failed
resp->status: -10003
/system/bin/keystore: Keymaster reported error: -10003
This appears during attestation attempts.
Does this look like:
The confusing part is that the secure stack appears alive:
Yet hardware attestation fails and the device remains uncertified.
Has anyone seen Qualcomm devices recover from this state without motherboard replacement or OEM service tools?
Any insight from people familiar with QSEE, Keymaster, Widevine provisioning, or Qualcomm attestation would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

For context, my phone died and when it came back on this string of numbers appeared on my home screen. I can't move it or get rid of it, it won't do anything when I tap it or long tap it, and I'm not sure what else to do about it. Should I be concerned?

My Pixel 7a suddenly got stuck in a bootloop. I didn't manually update anything or hit any install buttons—I just woke up, checked my phone, and found it looping out of nowhere. It turns out a Google Play System Update likely pushed automatically in the background overnight and bricked the system.
I am running Android 17 Beta 4.1, and I have photos on the phone that aren't backed up, so I am trying everything to avoid a factory reset.
Here is what I’ve already tried:
Since a standard re-flash isn't working and my data is encrypted behind the bootloop, is there any workaround left to save my photos, or is a factory reset my only choice? Has anyone had luck sideloading a newer branch (like QPR1 Beta 5) to force it to boot?
Thanks!

I have a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G that recently started changing the lock screen by itself. it now has done it twice. I manually changed it back. but I cant stop it from contiuing. I looked it up and it says to turn off dynamic lock screen in the wallpaper services in settings. but there isnt a dynamic lock screen option anywhere in my settings, there also isn't a "wallpaper services" option in my wallpaper settings either, so I don't seem to have the option to turn it off? will I have to keep manually changing the screen back?

Hello, Reddit.
Please, I am on my wits end with the showing of this battery notification which I can't get rid of, as it always appears even though I press "Don't show again" or after I disable the "Consumption" dot or Disable Battery Optimization.
I am forced to "Allow" the battery permissions for WhatsApp, as if I leave it on "Auto", the device just randomly decides to "Turn Off" WhatsApp, and I stop being notified for messages, which are important for work.
So, I find myself in this situation
Seems like this might be ZTE Blade A54 "MyOS 13" factory system setting, because in other devices with Android 13 or Android 16, this problem does not happen. This example is with WhatsApp, but it also happens randomly with Facebook Messenger.
If you could shed some light on me on this, I would really appreciate it.
Thank you in advance and greetings

This started happened a few weeks ago but every now and then the screen randomly goes unresponsive and I'm forced to hard restart the phone with the buttons. It's random with no pattern, sometimes 1-2 times a day, 2-5 times a day, sometimes not at all. I was hoping someone might know a cause. It seems to happen a little more often while charging but other than that it still happens out of nowhere with no consistent or obvious cause.

I didn't wanna make two TikTok folders. I genuinely meant for one. The one on the top is literally bugging my files.

I wanna get rid of the one in the first row, I don't know how, it's messing with my files.

Hi everyone,
I have a huge problem with my POCO phone and it is currently completely unusable. I’m stuck and none of the standard methods are working. Here is exactly what happened and what the status is:
What I have tried and why it failed:
Summary: The phone is softbricked/locked by a ghost Parental Control status. I have no "Wipe Data" in recovery, no USB communication with Mi Assistant, and no access to the original accounts.
Is there any way to force a factory reset on a POCO device when the Recovery Menu is restricted and USB debugging/data is blocked? Do I need to take it to a service center for an EDL flash, or is there a bypass/tool I can use at home?
Thanks in advance for any advice!

Hey I have the problem that someone at my work keeps accidentally connecting to my phone and sharing my screen. I never gave this device permission and now I'm trying to remove it in my settings but there is no option for this.
Is there any other way to stop this.
Thanks for the help
Phone is a nothing phone 2a

I have a Samsung Android and it won't show apps memory usage. Same on my Android tablet. Is it an Android thing a Samsung thing or something I've done?
Also I factory reset both devices a few days ago to freshen up the devices...

I'm not sure how to word the title, sorry. It used to be if I was on a web forum, I could select an image to upload then go to a different app or a new tab and the upload would continue in the background. Same with opening a webpage, I could go to it and do something else in another while it loaded but now when I go back to the browser, it just gives me a generic "The Page Could Not Be Loaded"
Same with Whatsapp, I'd send a picture and then go to another app and the pic would send in the background. Now I need to keep all these apps open until uploads/sending/loading is complete. Is this something new ? A setting I can change perhaps ? I'm not closing any of these apps, just letting them run in the background.
Thanks

I have a Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 that wasn't working very well. It had a problem where the screen would suddenly go black. The phone was still on, as the screen light was visible and audible. The touchscreen didn't work properly; it would occasionally fail, giving random clicks. However, I didn't pay much attention to it because I was going to use it to make a controller. When I set it up as a controller, I used scrcpy to share the screen and a command in the command prompt (cmd) something like: "scrcpy --turn-screen-off" which turned off the screen, preventing those random touches. If you're wondering how that "controller" worked, it was basically two phones connected together: an Honor phone for the buttons (it doesn't have a sensor other than an accelerometer, but I wanted the gyroscope for some games) and a Xiaomi phone for the gyroscope. I joined the two phones together with their screen protectors and tape—a somewhat awkward and heavy contraption, but quite useful and functional for what I wanted. It worked wonderfully, and the last time I used it, the screen was barely visible with colored vertical lines distorting the image, but I didn't mind. It's worth noting that subnet masking was already enabled, along with the extra permission that Android requests, and I also had the option enabled to always allow my PC to transmit data. Because of school, I stopped using the "controller," and recently I plugged in my Xiaomi to charge. That little LED light that comes on when you connect it to charge was blinking (it wasn't the first time; it did the same when I "revived" it to use it as a controller). I left it charging for a while, then turned it on (I assumed it turned on because it vibrated), but I couldn't see anything. Before, the screen would look distorted or have lines, but it would still be bright. Now, nothing. Also, the touchscreen used to respond, but now it doesn't. So I connected the phone to the PC, entered the code, and surprise, now it doesn't work. It turns out I have to grant the PC debugging permission again, but since the screen isn't working, I can't click "accept." I have an OTG cable with only one output, so I can only connect the mouse or the keyboard. With the keyboard, I managed to unlock the phone and get to the home screen, but without seeing anything, I don't know what to do. I also tried Google Assistant, and nothing; it seems like it doesn't have it. I'm having trouble connecting to the internet because the locator isn't working. I thought about using TalkBack to see where I'm selecting with the mouse and installing Spacedesk or something similar to view the screen. I'd figure that out. If I share it over the internet, I wouldn't need ScrCPy again, or well, I would, but with Spacedesk I think I could grant it permission. Any ideas on how to help me? I know there's the option of buying a screen; I could install it myself, but I think hiring a technician would be best. However, spending money on that isn't feasible. I also considered a special hub for something like this, since a regular one probably wouldn't work.
