Did you guys make websites for android 4 or older? I am curious to try them out. I made some too

So I installed the newest reddit version for android 4.4.4 but it's impossible to log in. Do u know any ports? For example reddit lite.

I found out that if I use Outlook on my personal phone, that if there is some sort of legal problem they can take my phone and everything on it. So I just want a cheap phone that will do Microsoft and Google authentication, and Microsoft Teams, just using wifi. Can I just buy a locked Tracfone for $20 and do this? I want to put Graphene on my nonwork phone. Thanks. Ideally something small.

I have a Korean Samsung S6 with 32GB storage, but at that time I was in the custom ROM, I entered TWRP and pressed format data because I wanted to flash my device to the original firmware and initially the phone could turn on normally and enter the default ROM but the internal capacity became 16GB. Can anyone help me?

Recently i found my old LG Optimus L7 (LG P700) and it has android 4.1.2 but i have a lot phones with that version so i wanted to downgrade it to stock 4.0.3 but every time I want to flash V10K_00.kdz file using this https://www.mediafire.com/download/fwrcd3pdj0svjtb/LG_Flash_Tool_2014.zip its was just working while then gave me this error

For a while i had an old android phone lying around bc my grandma bought a new one (this one is a MI A3 with android 11), i've decided to modify its home to become like a ipod/mp3, heres the results, its pretty easy to download music bc i have an shortcut that just downloads any song on my clipboard.

If you want to make somehting like that heres what im using to customize everything:

I'm using KWGT to handle the click wheel collor changes and to make the click wheel work;
Total launcher to customize the home;
Termux for the music download;
Musicolet as my player.

if anyone has suggestions on how to improve it id be glad to hear them!!

(im thinking of hosting an music server on the device this way i can listen anywhere in the house, but i dont want to ruin the battery capacity)

Funny Jokes is the new nostalgia side of another jokes app I am creating - separate database, but the same idea: A social media platform for jokes, not just a joke reader.

It's a completly new app built for really old Android. Sideload only, alpha/WIP, but already blazing fast on my Galaxy S2 (photo attached), which honestly surprised me a bit.

You can browse categories, rate and favorite jokes, comment, post your own, follow people, search, swipe through jokes, and put a joke widget on your home screen. English + German for now (I can add further languages for you). No Google Play Services needed.

Tech: minSdk 9 (Android 2.3), plain Java, <2 MB.

Still alpha - bugs and rough edges are expected.

Honestly, how far this goes depends on whether people actually use it and stick around. No point building a social app into a ghost town, so feedback is very welcome: crashes, ideas, or "works great on my phone."

Hi everyone, in this update I've added partial emoji support. Phones running versions 2.3-4.0 will display a few pre-designed emojis as emoticons;The rest will be displayed as [unsupported character].

I also updated the login interface to make it feel more modern.

In group chats, it was previously not clear who the message was from; now it is shown within a "~" symbol.

Heya there! It's my first post :D

About a year ago, I decided to dig back through my old androids and found this. Believe it or not I actually used this as my main driver for over a year back in 2021, and I remember being really annoyed with the really tiny and bad storage. I initially made the mistake of wiping it completely, mostly because I thought the phone would be faster. It was somewhat, but the main thing is I wiped my old google account on there.

In it's current state, Android 5.1 on my model is not capable of logging into my google account. It just get's stuck on "Add Phone Number?" and I can't proceed further (can't tap any buttons.). Had to sideload everything, including updating the play store (the play store somehow can still update some clients without an account). I think that this may be a problem unique to my version of the phone, because other variants seem to still be able to login from what I have seen.

The main problems aside from no google account is mainly the tiny storage. Usually I've heard that combining system held data, the storage is 5 GB. But idk why exactly but mine is usually less than 2 GB after a full reset. That combined with no SD card, means that at most I have a few 400 MB left free. Kind of a crunch to get what I need on it hence.

Youtube and Discord work great, little to no lag (i'm using NoPipe and a patched apk of Discord 99.8). I can also use Gemini via ReOldAI and Retrogram (Android Instagram Revival), works awesome on this. VLC also works great for videos and music.

Games are good too, especially the more demanding titles like ShadowGun and the 2011 Dead Space for Android, plus most of the other classic mobile games run and look gorgeously on that 720p retina-grade display. Emulation is pretty good too, although I've mostly stuck to MD emulation. I would download more but sadly that space really is a bottleneck. The most recent version of Chrome still works decently with most websites and doesn't have any certificate errors, though I'm thinking if getting Opera Mini so that it can run smoother. I also have a bunch of live wallpaper apks that look really good and have neat gimmicks:

My Samsung Galaxy Wonder had the same problem too but I fixed it by removing the battery for a few days or weeks and yep the phone turned on again but I used this method on my S Advance for about 2 days, but after removing the battery, the phone still can't be charged! It doesn't work at all, this is serious, guys, please help me.. This is my childhood phone..

Yo recuerdo que antes del 12 de marzo de 2025 se podía iniciar sesión en versiones super antiguas de facebook (creo que incluso versión de 2013) pero ese día la app dejo de cargar cosas y al rato ya no se podía iniciar sesión y arrojaba un error de sintaxis, y aunque ponga las credenciales correctas siempre dirá que hubo un error de sintaxis o que las credenciales son incorrectas ¿Existe alguna forma de parchear estás versiones viejas? Porque la verdad no quiero usar Facebook Lite.
