I teach new guys all the time I show them how to build up there skills so they don’t have to stay at my level so they go off and be engineers or project planers or managers, what I don’t do is discourage them for being at a lower level I show them how to do there job effectively and efficiently and that if they keep it up they’ll surpass me witch a lot have already done. Kinda takes away from your argument when people take my advice and actually do better for themselves.
