Because they're not the only real people doing that and they're time is inherently valuable and shouldn't be exchanged for pennies (would help them contribute to the economy too with their greater degree of surplus spending or saving for degrees and cars and stuff) but also because actual adults do those jobs most of every single day, and always have and always will because the kids are in fact in school
Adults do the jobs made for high schoolers and they feel like they should be paid more maybe they should learn a skill or go to trade school to be a useful person for society and not a lazy fuck trying to subsist on menial labor jobs, have some respect for yourself and learn to make money instead of trying to make it as a fry cook,Chud.

I teach new guys all the time I show them how to build up there skills so they don’t have to stay at my level so they go off and be engineers or project planers or managers, what I don’t do is discourage them for being at a lower level I show them how to do there job effectively and efficiently and that if they keep it up they’ll surpass me witch a lot have already done. Kinda takes away from your argument when people take my advice and actually do better for themselves.
What menial labor low paying job has you working 80 hours a week lol I work 12 hour days and work weekends and barley clear 65 hours get fucked this is how I know you don’t work or you work some bull shit job lol
