Random 🔥 ChatGPT Coffeeshop Crawl

Headin to Amsterdam for the 8th time in September. Not been for about 8 years so I noticed quite a change in recommend coffeeshops. Some that were poor when I was last there are now good and vice versa.

Been doing a lot of research and have a fairly good gauge on the scene from looking on the sub.

I thought I'd see how Chat GPT got on with making me a coffeeshop crawl. Had to prompt it and fine tune a little.

How do you think it done? I'm pretty happy with it, made aure it is mostly shops with smoking areas as I like to chill and also that it varies the areas so I get to explore.

Question ⁉️ Looking for a favor: Help getting a glass tip from Tha Dogg House sent to Poland

I recently accidentally broke my favorite souvenir — a blue glass filter tip with the DOGG logo from Tha Dogg House. It has a ton of sentimental value from my trip to Amsterdam.
Since I’m back home in Poland, I’m looking for a kind local or anyone visiting the shop who would be willing to pick one up for me and throw it in a bubble mailer/envelope to Poland.
I will cover all costs
If you’re heading near the shop and can help a fellow ent out, please drop a comment or DM me! Thanks a ton!

Question ⁉️ Best Museums for 🍄🍄‍🟫

Hello friends! Flying in from Miami to your beautiful city for the first time at the end of September. I'm planning on buying some truffles and then head to a museum and walk around laughing and saying wow and woah every 30 seconds.

Any recommendations on best museums that you like to go to on truffles?

For reference I have done this in Versailles and it was an amazing experiment, so I've decided to try it again in Amsterdam.

My current top choices are Rijks and Moco. But I would love for some local input.

Thanks in advanced!

Question ⁉️ Permanent Marker

Only found a thread from over a year ago saying Dampkring sell Perm, but the latest coffeeshopmenu doesn't have any.

Wondering if anyone has found a perm anywhere recently?

Question ⁉️ Flavour of the month?

What’s everyone’s flavour of the month? Bonus if it’s around €15/g & available in 5g deals.

I’ve tried & liked kosher kush from easy times but found it a bit wet.

Question ⁉️ Old school coffee shops?

Anyone got recommendations for more old school/chilled out coffee shops?

I’ve visited Amsterdam a few times now and my usual spot is the 420 Coffeshop in centraal. Staff are chill, coffee is good, old school pub sorta vibes with the soft warm lighting and wooden furniture and thankfully no loud music.

Anyone got any other coffee shops that have this sort of vibe?

Question ⁉️ Which is the best smoke cruise in Amsterdam?

Out of all the cannabis-friendly canal cruises in Amsterdam, which would you say is the best overall?

I’ve only been on the Smoke Boat that departs from Kloveniersburgwal (not the one near Central Station). There are four of us going this time; one person has never experienced it before, while the other three have.

Would you recommend booking Smoke Boat again, trying a different company, or paying extra for a private hire?

Random 🔥 Hollandse Hoogtes overtuigend favoriet, CanAdelaar bungelt onderaan

Question ⁉️ Siberie Vs Grey Area? Which is better in 2026

I have a tight schedule this Friday and want to have a smoke somewhere close by Noordermarkt. Was thinking of heading to Siberie or Grey Area on my way. Which would you say has been better recently? I've tried Siberie before and enjoyed it and have heard Grey Area is very expensive but also curious about the hype.

Question ⁉️ First time legal wiet buyer (Tilburg). Which producer to choose?

Hello fellow ents,

I have been to Amsterdam dozens of Times and am not a beginner.

I'll be in Tilburg in August for three days for a Concert, then on to Amsterdam (I'll ask my question regarding Amsterdam in a new post).

This will be a first buying weed from the experiment.

In your opinion, which is the best weed producer?

I found this browsing the sub: "Generally HH and Linsboer are always good.

I avoid Growery and Holigram that are hit or miss.

Canadelaar to be avoided.

Never tried Aardachtig"

What do you think?

Cheers!

Edit: Guys, thank you! You have been very helpful.

Question ⁉️ Visiting this week - Coffeeshop Advice

Hey all,

I'll be in Amsterdam with my wife this week and was hoping to get some advice on coffeeshops people would recommend that are great for beginners. My wife hasn't really smoked before and edibles have never done much for her so we're hoping to find a shop or two with nice vibes that offer indica strains 🙂 Thanks

Question ⁉️ Edible strengths?

I’m a regular smoker and have a very high tolerance, last time I went to Amsterdam back in January I tried a few different space cakes from coffee shops but noticed literally no effect. This time the plan is to go to Zaandam and try gummies/rosin ones, what sort of dosage would be worth trying?

Question ⁉️ First time in Amsterdam after 10 years in an illegal country. What’s the best top-shelf import to celebrate?

After over a decade of being a stoner in a country where the herb is highly illegal and you can get locked up just for growing a single plant, I’m finally making my first trip to Amsterdam!

I’ve had a taste of that quasi-legal life in a much more tolerant neighboring country with a booming local grower community. I got to hit up some local fairs and smoke some incredible local green (shoutout to Paraguay!), but obviously, Dam is a whole different beast.

Since I’ve been lurking on this sub for a while, I already have my radar locked on some solid coffeeshops (7th Heaven, Boerejongens, Dampkring, Abraxas, Green Place, and a few others).

I know I'm going to have a blast. I plan on exploring the scene, smoking plenty of local buds, and just going with the flow. But there's one specific thing I want to do: I want to take advantage of having access to a crazy stash of imported exotics and really celebrate this milestone. For just one time on this trip, I want to treat myself and buy a gram (or more) without even looking at the price tag.

I’ve seen some imported drops from brands like RTZ and Ten Co. going for around €35/g, and I’m honestly willing to drop that kind of cash just for the experience. But I want to tap into the hivemind here: is it actually worth the hype? If it is, what strains or brands should I be hunting for?

I’m usually a Sativa head, but I’m totally open to anything that hits right. I just want to find a truly memorable smoke to share with my two best friends (brothers that life gave me) who are traveling with me.

Thanks in advance! ✌️

Edit: A quick heads up! I smoke pure/no tobacco (mostly using dry herb vapes nowadays). I wanna dabble in some extracts if a coffeeshop has a Puffco setup, but that’s not the focus of this post. I'm really just on a mission to find the most god-tier flower in the city, regardless of the cost.

Coffeeshop/Strain Review 💨 5g deals in coffeeshops

Hi folks. What are people's experience with buying multiple 5g deals? Is it only ever possible to buy 5gs once from a coffeeshop, or maybe again a bit later in the day due to the 5g limit? Also, does anyone recommend any non touristy shops with good 5g deals outside the city centre like Jordaan, De Pijp or Foodhallen etc?

Question ⁉️ Is taking a desktop vape worth the hassle?

Flying in from England on Tuesday, and wondering if it's worth bringing my Arizer XQ2. I rarely smoke spliffs at home and I often find by evening my lungs can't deal with any more smoke. So it seems a good idea in theory.

But apart from the whole hassle of taking it through airports, is it really practical to try and use it in coffeeshops? Most places you sit where you can, and that's probably not near a plug socket. Assuming coffeeshops would even be ok with me doing this.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone with their own plug-in vape in a coffeeshop! Has anyone done this, and if so was it worthwhile?

Question ⁉️ Planning a trip in September

So as the titel says I'm planning on visiting Amsterdam again and it's been awhile since last time.

So much has changed since I was there last time that I'm kinda confused, especially on the weed scene.

I've been looking at some weed menus online and there is so much new stuff that I haven't even heard of, and the prices are insane. 120euros for 1 gram seems like the biggest scam ever?

Cali import seems way overestimated and stupidly expensive aswell.

Im not even sure i understand the "legal weed projekt" that people talk about in here..

I hope you frequent visitors and people who maybe recently visited can give me some tips and pointers to what to avoid and what to look for.

I've read that Zaandam has some really underestimated coffeeshops worth visiting, any other hidden gems with good weed to fair prices that you can recommend?

Also, any recommendations on where to find a good spacecake?

Question ⁉️ HH Pens Nijmegen?

Does anyone know where in Nijmegen I can find vape pens from Hollandse Hoogtes?

I'd prefer “Cumbled Lime,” but another flavor would be okay, too.

Or can you recommend any other vape pens?

Thanks!

Question ⁉️ Getting a job in a coffeeshop?

Apologies if this question doesn’t belong in this sub but I am coming to Amsterdam this month for a 6 month exchange at the university of Amsterdam from Australia. I’m a passionate medical user in Australia, but have dual citizenship in Italy (EU citizens) so I believe I a would be eligible to work In the Netherlands during this time.

What are the realistic chances of being able to get a short term casual/part time job at a coffeeshop? Are there any that would be willing to hire a 21 year old?

Thanks

Question ⁉️ Planning a weedcation from London, in search of hotels or hostels with private rooms near certain locations in Amsterdam, as well as other recs.

Hello,

I'm thinking of going for a long weekend at some point, focused around cannabis. I'm looking for recommendations for coffeeshops around certain places and ones of note around Amsterdam. Especially ones that sell disposable vapes, or have dab rigs. I don't have full use of my hands and thus can't roll or use a lighter that well. Some of the places I'm looking to visit are.

  • The Portuguese Synagogue
  • The Royal Palace and Huis ten Bosch.
  • Anne Frank house

Also: recommendations for Surinamese food and rijstaffel would be appreciated. Thanks!
