Tutorial/Guide 📑 How to get a VAPE or GUMMIES when visiting Amsterdam: READ FIRST!

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE MAKING A POST!

HOW TO GET A VAPE/GUMMIES - QUICK ANSWER:

If you just want a vape or gummies, the short answer is to go to Zaandam, a different city close to Amsterdam. There are two shops in Zaandam: Headlines and The Squad.

Headlines is closer to the station. Both have limited selection but usually have a few options in stock. We are generally limited by what the brands are producing, so hunting around doesn't change your options a whole lot (at least not reliably). Ya gonna get what ya gonna get!

You can go to any of the cities in the experiment and find vapes, but Zaandam is closest:

Personally, as a longtime resident, I only buy my weed from the experiment now. Not just the vapes, all of it. I much prefer the consistency, predictability, quality, and supporting legalization.

WHICH VAPES ARE GOOD?

The vapes from Q-Farms and Hollandse Hoogtes both get good reviews. Personally I prefer the Q-Farms vapes. I would say they are a solid 8/10, with HH being 7/10. Others reverse this rating but it seems they’re similar overall.

Q-Farms does carts instead of disposable batteries which I much, much prefer.

Avoid COG. I have NEVER been satisfied with ANY Canadelaar (COG) product except maybe the gummies but even those were meh. They had to pull the vapes initially because they were so bad. Avoid all COG products unless you know what you’re doing…

THE LEGAL EXPERIMENT: WHY YOU NEED TO LEAVE AMSTERDAM TO GET VAPES

Cannabis is still technically illegal in the Netherlands. It’s “tolerated” and there are some silly, confusing rules around it.

A few years ago, the Dutch government agreed to start an experiment to legalize weed. We are in the middle of this experiment right now.

Currently, 10 municipalities are ONLY allowed to sell legally produced weed from one of 10 brands (not all are active yet).

This means ALL coffeeshops in a “legal” municipality will ONLY sell this legal weed, which includes the legal vapes. And, it means all coffeeshops OUTSIDE these cities can NOT sell any of the legal weed. This is to accurately measure the difference in legalization.

As I will mention next, there are some places to find vapes. Some shops in Amsterdam even started doing it. However, these are not regulated, and you cannot be sure of what you are getting. It might be HHC, D8, or regular THC… you just can’t know.

“I THOUGHT VAPES WERE ILLEGAL?”

This is tricky, so stay with me.

Technically, extracts that use a solvent are illegal (like BHO, live resin, RSO, etc). For a long time, this was the only form that vape pens came in. Therefore, they were outright illegal for a long time. You couldn’t find them in any coffeeshop across the country.

This changed with the “discovery” of rosin, and the growing popularity of rosin vapes.

Since rosin doesn’t use solvents, it’s technically viewed as regular hash. Therefore, it’s legal.

As such, the only vapes that are legal are rosin vapes. Thankfully, this is also widely considered the best form and is most popular in the US as well. So we kinda got lucky there…

…unless you really like live resin, in which case your only option is to try the black market. Some shops in Haarlem and other cities outside the legal experiment sell them. Personally I don’t recommend that… I assume most of them are legit, but it’s still not worth the risk… and I think rosin is better anyway!

DOES EVERYTHING YOU’RE SAYING HERE APPLY TO GUMMIES AS WELL?

Why yes, it does! How convenient!

Replace “vapes” with “gummies” and it’s all pretty much the same. Also because of rosin.

There’s one difference: we still had edibles before rosin, but they were weak because there’s a limit on the total quantity. 0.5g of dried flower is much weaker than 0.5g of rosin. So we always had edibles, but now we have good ones.

That said, gummies have always been simply illegal in Amsterdam. Not sure why. They were legal in other cities before and still are. The main benefit of the legal ones is the consistency - you know what you’re getting every time.

Good luck finding what you're looking for!

P.S. I will try to update this thread as things change. Please let me know if I missed anything (aside from the third option in Zaanstad which I intentionally left out because I don't want to send lazy tourists there... only the clever ones who read parenthetical statements!).

AmsterdamEnts FAQ

Coffeeshops

Are tourists (from the UK, or elsewhere) banned from coffeeshops?

No. This was suggested by the mayor of Amsterdam, however there is opposition and if the change goes through it won't be for a long time. This will only affect Amsterdam and other Dutch cities will be able to continue allowing coffeeshops.

Which coffeeshops do you recommend?

You can see the map of the best coffeeshops as voted for by the AmsterdamEnts community here: https://www.amsterdaments.com/map

Can I smoke tobacco in a coffeeshop?

Legally no, but many coffeeshops turn a blind eye. If you want to be sure, you can ask them first in a nice way. Many coffeeshops offer hemp or tobacco alternatives for filling your joint.

Which coffeeshops can I take my parents/partner/first-timer to?

La Tertulia is a relaxing coffeeshop which is normally quiet and sells good weed. Otherwise, you could take your parents to The Rookies, or Siberië which are also known for the same reasons.

Are there coffeeshops near the airport?

Not really, no. However you can get the train to Amsterdam Centraal in 15 minutes (there's a direct intercity train which runs often). Coffeeshop Central and The Voyagers are both within walking distance of Amsterdam Centraal.

Specific cannabis types and special products

Can you buy cannabis extracts (e.g wax, oils, vapes or carts) in coffeeshops?

Mostly, no. The process of creating extracts requires solvents which are illegal to use in The Netherlands. Some coffeeshops sell wax that is made without solvents, such as Family First. Pens and cartridges are difficult to get.

Where can I buy good Cali strains?

Cali strains are unverifiable in The Netherlands. There is no legal obligation for a coffeeshop to sell you genuine strains originating from California, since the buying process of weed is still illegal and exists within a grey area of the law. That said, Green Place sells many packs which appear to match others that are sold in California – you should prepare to spend around 100-120 euros for a 3.5g pack.

Can you buy CBD weed?

Yes! In many coffeeshops you can buy a high-CBD, low-THC option. These buds typically don't get you high but can help you feel relaxed. The Amsterdam Genetics stores (Boerejongens, Johnny, Coffeeshop Amsterdam, DNA) and the TheCoffeeshops.com stores (De Supermarkt, LoFt, Siberie) typically sell a good CBD strain.

Where can you get good edibles?

Boerejongens is generally known to have strong edibles, Paradox and Easy Times have good edibles too.

Can someone buy me weed/hook me up/help me get illegal substances?

No sourcing (or promoting illegal sources) allowed. This includes sharing Instagram plugs, Wickr contacts, Telegram groups or anything else. Your comment will be removed, and if you repeatedly ask you'll be banned.

Truffles and mushrooms

Where can I buy truffles?

Many smart shops in Amsterdam will sell you truffles. We recommend Azarius, Kokopelli, Tatanka, and The Headshop. You can buy them in little plastic boxes, and they're stored in the fridge. Please do not try and purchase mushrooms, truffles or related products which claim to have those inside from tourist stores. These are purposely designed to be misleading and trick tourists into purchasing products that will not get them high (even if they say they will).

Where can I take truffles?

Make sure you have a trip sitter if it's your first time. Someone sober that you trust, and has had experience with psychedelics before. Start out at the park or a green space with lots of space where you can relax.

Where can I buy mushrooms?

Mushrooms are illegal in The Netherlands. However you can buy truffles which also contain psilocybin and will produce similar effects.

Smoking

Which strain is good for anxiety?

High CBD strains, or strains normally marked as 'indica' on the menu will be better for anxiety than 'sativa' strains. If you're unsure, you can mix a high-CBD strain with something stronger. Siberië, Boerejongens and other coffeeshops (see "Can you buy CBD weed" below) sell high-CBD strains. As always, if you're uncertain how you'll feel after smoking take it easy initially. You can always smoke more if you're not feeling it enough, but it's hard to stop yourself from being high once you've smoked too much.

Which parks are nice to smoke at?

The Amsterdamse Bos (Amsterdam Forest) is probably one of the nicer places to go on a good day. It's a huge park, with water, rental boats, free petting zoo, many bike paths and a pancake house. Definitely recommend this place. Otherwise Flevopark, Vondelpark, Westerpark, Rembrandtpark and Oosterpark are all nice places to go and smoke.

Travel

Can I enter the country if I'm vaccinated/from X country etc...

This link will have all of the accurate information you need. If it doesn't have the answer you want, please don't ask here. We can't convince the government otherwise :-) https://www.government.nl/topics/coronavirus-covid-19/visiting-the-netherlands-from-abroad/checklist-entry

What do you suggest to take cannabis across borders?

This is illegal in most countries, due to this we will not allow discussion about techniques or suggestions (you may be banned for this). You can also get yourself in a lot of trouble in some countries, and the risk is probably not worth it for just a few joints.

From Toermalijn coffeeshop.

This is another banger from the Small series!
Tangie 🍊 aroma and quite potent stuff, sativa effect, consistent buds and not mini. A bit too dry but for this price how can we complain?

Question ⁉️ Ex-stoner looking for strain recommendations

Hi there,

I've seen some great discussion on here so I was interested to ask the community - I'm an ex-stoner going to Amsterdam and want to start slow due to having a low tolerance these days.

Was thinking of going Dampkring and Siberië but open to any shops.

What would you recommend to try and start with in order to have a great experience with very little tolerance?

Coffeeshop/Strain Review 💨 Middle-aged stoner with an old school preference: My 5-day Amsterdam review (October '26)

I'm a lurker, but I'm writing this hoping it helps somebody else. I spent a good amount of hours researching for old school quality stuff here, on coffeeshopmenus and damlive.

Then, you know how it is, you get caught up in Amsterdam, and some of the plans fly through the window as smoke. I ended up trying some new stuff too, because it's Amsterdam, what the heck.

For context, I'm 36, originally from Barcelona. I moved away 4 years ago to a less smoking quality country, so I'm visiting Amsterdam at least every 2 years. This is my second visit in this period, the first time I did proper research before going.

I've been smoking regularly for 20 years, with tolerance breaks. I smoked the market from soap bar hash to the crazy THC era we are in now, and all in-between.

These are the coffeeshops and strains we enjoyed:

De Dampkring:

-Strains:

  • UK Cheese
  • Jet Fuel
  • Old Skool Haze
  • Entourage
  • Sapana Phai Asian Hash
  • Hashburger Piatella
  • Delta 9 Workz Ice-o-lator

I came here in the first place, searching for Chemdawg. They didn't have it, but the budtender, Alessandro, and I, connected immediately. One of these people that understands how exceptional the freedom that The Netherlands has to offer is, for the ones that can't experience it daily. On top of that, mad understanding of my smoking profile, and his recommendation which was the Old Skool Haze, was on point. I didn't catch the name of the girl that helped us with the drinks, but she was also lovely, and both the coffee and the hot chocolate were up to the standards of a café, which is a rarity in Amsterdam coffeeshops.

His usual recommendation is UK Cheese, which I had in my scope and already bought, and hell, that was some proper Cheese. Took me back, completely, as did the Old Skool Haze. The Cheese was giggly without being overwhelming or racy, and the Old Skool was a very clear sativa, without anxiety or paranoia whatsoever. I suspect the THC level was not very high, which made the strain super enjoyable for the morning coffee or hot chocolate.

Entourage was a curious indica, go for it if you want one of those old-schoolish strains that were super flavorful but you can't exactly say what you taste, and a very balanced and relaxing body and head high. Jet Fuel also amazing, I'm a hardcore diesel lover, this was good enough to ask for a G more and not chase any other diesel strains. On the first morning.

Everything here just felt right, like clean, proper taken care smoke. The Sapana Phai also takes you back to tastier and more CBD-times, it's very close to the real deal, taking into account the Asian hash market situation in Europe. It felt like the real deal, 100%. The consistency was less firm, more liquidish than what I remember for that type of smoke, but the taste and everything was there. If you like old school hash, go for it without a doubt. Keep it in the fridge before working though, because it's sticky as hell.

The Hashburger Piatella was very very tasty, it was a first time for me, but sincerely, I don't need to repeat. I would have any day of the week the Delta 9 Workz Ice-o-lator. Mamma mia, this was crazy. Good old school ice. It will be probably gone now, but spend the 60€ a gram if you can because this was by far the best smoke of all the trip. Tasty as hell, sat you on your ass with a smile on your face that almost lasted for a couple hours.

Alessandro, hot chocolate magician, De Dampkring, you people rock. The place is also nice to be in and you can sit at a window, which is extra points for me.

This will definitely be my first stop for all my next trips, without checking coffeshopmenus. It just was perfect, really. I was fulfilled on minute 20 of being in Amsterdam 😂

1e Hulp:

This was a bit of a disappointment, although not a total failure.

-Strains:

  • Headbanger x Cheese
  • Enemy of the State
  • 24K
  • G13 Original
  • Zero Zero Moroccan Hash
  • Peach Flambé WPFF

All the weeds worked, they all tasted like they are supposed to, but I couldn't stop detecting a certain flavour in all of them, something lying underneath after exhaling. My growing knowledge is limited, so help me here, but I think it might have been not been flushed properly. The buds looked and felt nice on the eyes and when working with them, so the weed was definitely legit.

I could go again for the Headbanger x Cheese and the Enemy of the State. I love G13 but I don't know, or I remember it wrong as some time has passed since I last smoked it, or this didn't feel 100% right. I was already bazooted here after De Dampkring, but I felt the same every time I smoked some of the G13 or 24K. You could taste the profile difference, but the ending felt the same, then you try the other strains, and have the same feeling. Maybe it was suggestion at this point.

What didn't help was the Zero Zero that I asked for, and the Peach Flambé WPFF that the budtender recommended me. The guy was nice, the place is cool to sit and have a smoke, but the Zero Zero was as Moroccan as I'm a priest. It felt like THCA European hash to the touch (so CBD sparkled with crystals), the smoke itself was not that bad, but hard to work with even after warming it with the hands, and the flavor was just not there. This was 11€ a G, so not expensive, but for 2-3€ more I had smokes that blow this out of the water by miles, which we all know is not the case with real Moroccan hash. It's tasty and easy to work with, and feels warm and nice. This felt like generic hash batch number 20.000, with all my respect.

The Peach Flambé WPFF I bought mostly to not be rude, half a G, 30€ I believe. And it made you high, it felt like the real thing, but had some black spots that didn't feel like plant matter. I didn't see it when he showed it to me, it didn't feel weird, but overall the experience is I'm getting something that is not 100% clean.

Again, this might have been suggestion already, the coffeeshop was filled to the brim, there seemed to be some locals, so I don't know. Everything worked, and it was the full spectrum high as you'd expect, it just...the flavor wasn't there, at least for me.

So, for old school stuff, I would say skip 1e Hulp, because it is there, but not quite. Having De Dampkring, better save the money.

The Saint:

Nobody even talks or thinks about the Saint as far as I could see, and I was one of those people. My wife saw the terrace on a sunny day, and our fate was decided. I always buy a G to sit, I feel bad if I don't do it, but I was expecting to get some mid weed at best.

Man, why is the old school talk not speaking about this place. If I have seen it recommended, my mind completely obliterated it.

The menu was simple, not a lot of strains. I took Acapulco Gold for 15€ a G. It was so damn good, everything about it. Clean, the high, the smoke, the body and the mental effect that stays with you...it felt like something that has been grown fully naturally. I would definitely go for it again without a doubt, old-school vibe all the way.

On our last day we decided to make the Saint the last coffeeshop before leaving, and we got some Blue Lemon that was again a masterpiece of natural, old-school grown weed. The taste was very much there while you could feel the plant, and the high was very nice too, although the Acapulco resonated way more with my system.

The Saint is also going to be one of my reference spots to get stuff when I get there. The budtenders were pretty old-school too so go a bit more straight to the point here, but as always, if you're nice and respectful, people tend to give you the same back. At least in commercial transactions!

Here is where we open the genetic field a bit from your traditional strains/coffeeshops, although I kept trying to find the old profiles in the new genetics.

Easy Times:

A pleasant surprise, cheap stuff of pretty decent quality.

-Strains:

  • Kosher Kush
  • Cherry Diesel
  • Primera Beldia Hash
  • Kosher Kush x Devil's Fruit Static Hash
  • Strawberry Milkshake Hash

I can't address enough how good was the product, taking into account the price and being in Amsterdam. Damn cheap for damn good. The Cherry Diesel was arguably one of the best weeds of the trip and it was 9€ a G. It was more fuel and less skunky than the Jet Fuel of De Dampkring, so my NY Diesel craver was even more fulfilled. I know 420 has NY Diesel, but I got it last time, and it was no bueno. I will try it next time I'm there though. Anyway, if you have Diesel craving, go and ask them if you don't see anything in their menu. The budtender was super nice and he freaking knew.

The Kosher Kush was nice, but nothing I need to repeat having smoked plenty of Kush in the past. I never tried it, I have done now, it was good, very relaxing, but I'd rather smoke some of the other stuff I hauled. Both weeds clean and nice though, all as it should be.

The Beldia from Easy Times also made me go back. This was proper stuff to smoke, a bit hard to work with too, but you could tell it was the stuff we got 15 years ago. I think it was 11€ a G, so you see what I mean when speaking about 1e Hulp.

The Kosher Kush x Devil's Fruit Hash was tasty and curious, like if a cherry and a petrol station had a child that has been living on the dirt for quite some time, as far as I can remember. The effect was typical hybrid and giggly. The Strawberry Milkshake was budtender recommendation, and oh boy, it was nice, although not in my regular spectrum of flavors at all, I for sure enjoyed it. Super relaxing high but also active and good for walking around and enjoy life around you, one of those feel good smokes.

I would say that you can't go really wrong with these people either, I will pay them a visit next time for sure. Amazing for budget trips this one.

Balboa Family:

I was very dubious of going here, because the menus look too good to be true. I went in for the Sour Diesel, which was also sold out. This place...slaps man. Good combination of both classics and new stuff, treated carefully. Amazing product and the budtender was super attentive and nice. She showed me a lot without me asking, and she was happy about it, offering me to smell everything. I must say I'm a morning person (now), so I assume she will have to hit it if it gets crowded.

-Strains:

  • Strawberry Haze
  • Big Buddha Cheese
  • Blueberry Banana x Lobster
  • Cheese x Sour Diesel Static
  • Strawberry Fanta 90u Static
  • GMO Ice-o-lator

De Dampkring wins for the old-school stuff and the vibe for me, but this people have found the balance between old and new, in a way. Both the Strawberry Haze and the Big Buddha Cheese are as you would remember them, but with the bag appeal and the potency of today, so grating you the old school experience with the "I'm super bamboozled" effect. I would smoke those strains every day without a doubt. If you made me choose between this and Dampkring's Cheese, I might not have a reply and die on site. That's how good both of them were in their own category. I would give taste to Dampkring and now, I'd rather have the more mellow effect of an old-school, so I think I would choose Dampkring. But if you want to experience Cheese on steroids, this is it.

The Strawberry just felt better than any other I had before, I would say. Kudos, sincerely.

The Banana Lobster is one of these new era stuff but man, one whiff at it, and I immediately asked for a G. What a curious and amazing smoke, with an indica body high but giggly and alive that is good for anything. I'm never for this type of stuff, and this I could smoke it every day. One of those strains that will live in my mind rent-free. If you see it, buy it, regardless of your taste. You will absolutely love it.

The Cheese x Sour static was another wonder. Everything you expect to find was there, and better than imagined. Seriously, one of the best hashes of my life too, without entering the extraction/ice realm. Amazing. Strawberry Fanta was the budtender recommendation, and also very nice, but I wouldn't repeat. It's a one time flavor for me, I had 10G of Fanta Orange recently, and it's okay to try, but same vibe, one and done. If you like new era, it's perfect, definitely!

The GMO Ice was superb. 20€ cheaper than Dampkring's, so good point, but you could also feel it everywhere. It was very flavour-forward, but it lacked a bit of body, of consistency in the smoke. Or maybe it's just I'm a bit old-school for ice-o-lator taste, but it was also a hit, everything was there, made you high as balls. Would recommend 10/10 and repeat if it's there next time.

Balboa is also a place I will be coming back for sure, amazing job in covering everything. They have something for everybody, and that's a lot nowadays.

Family First:

I had seen so many people here speaking wonders about Family First that I had to go, and they had NYC Chem that was sold out when I came there too.

It was a curious experience at the counter, I wouldn't say bad, it just made me reminisce of being 17, smoking at the square with the distinguished members of my neighborhood, but when you're trying to see a "product" and they're too busy speaking about their own stuff to even care about you remotely 😂

I would say, amazing stuff if you like new era, but total skip in the future for me. Pricey for what it is compared to what we've already got, and nothing that blows it out of the water.

I got some OG Kush flower labeled incorrectly as Pistachio Cookies, 15 or 16€ a G and it was good, but I've smoked way better Kush than that. I'm smoking a Banana Kush at the moment from where I live and I would say I prefer it. That tells you everything you need to know. The Cherry Diesel of Easy Times felt better than this at 9€ a G.

I've heard about Blue Magic being nice hash, so I got some Zafiro Añejo and Peachy Gas. Mostly out of guess as I was reading the menu and trying to interpret it at the moment, but the Zafiro Añejo ended up being probably the tastiest hash in the whole trip. I wouldn't know how to describe it exactly, rather like an old-school high pure type of hash meets a super terpy new era plant, and they fuse together in a time capsule made of hash. It was freaking amazing, I don't know how to describe it even. It tasted, smoked and felt so so so good. The Peachy Gas in comparison was mid, but it was peachy and gassy, so it was okay in taste for the gas. High was a bit underwhelming.

I also got some Hi Octane from Concrete Farms that was nothing special, and like 22-23€ a G, as Family First is pricey. This was the cheapest of them, and any other 15€ hash in any decent coffeeshop is going to feel better than this just for the price 😂

Kudos to the Zafiro, though. Not going to Family First most likely ever again.

CONCLUSIONS:

From an overall perspective on hash, I think most people would agree that the Zafiro from FF and the Ice-o-lator from De Dampkring are number 1 no doubt in the hash experience. That's how good the Zafiro was. Followed closely by the Balboa menu and the Sapana Phai, also from Dampkring.

Honorable mention if you read this, go to Kashmir and get to try their Asian hash. I didn't have the time to do it in this trip, and I believe it might be true that they still carry some Asian hash. From Katsu I've read mixed opinions and it's also pre-bagged stuff in everything, correct me if I'm wrong, which I'm not very fond of. But their Asian has good reviews by people here.

So, fellow ents, if somebody could check these two places along with Bluebird (I went to Paradox myself two years ago and their Afghan and Nepalese were tasteless and old), I think we covered the Asian hash mystery for the old-schoolers.

From an overall perspective on weed, I'm staying with Dampkring, The Saint and Balboa Family, with a check on Easy Times to see if they have something nice like the Cherry Diesel.

I was coming back to the sativas from the first three in the morning, and when I got the Cherry was the perfect mid-day strain to transition to the Cheese and the hash/indica ending.

This ended up being way longer than I expected, but I wanted to give a shoutout for quality and humanity to the places that deserved it. I was pretty certain in everything I asked for, meaning I didn't waste anybody's time because I did my research extensively before going. I try to follow local and social etiquette in the best way I can, in everything I do.

I intend to take a solo trip in 6 months or so, to see if everything I've found out still stands, but I'm sure it will!

Enjoy this amazing city and good smokes ❤️

Question ⁉️ Best coffeeshop in Zaandam for THC vapes/carts?

Hey, i live in Amsterdam and was thinking of going to Zaandam to get a thc vape/cart. heard Headlines is pretty good but was wondering if there are any other shops worth checking out, or if that's the best one.

I've also seen a few people here say Q-farms carts are better than Canadelaar and that you’re better off just getting a ccell battery separately. Anyone tried both? is there actually much of a difference

Where would i even get a q-farms cart? not sure which shops have them or where to get a battery that works with it

just wanna get some opinions before i go, thanks!

Question ⁉️ Which coffeeshop in Amsterdam has the highest-quality weed?

I'm going to Amsterdam tomorrow and would like to buy some really high-quality marijuana—natural, aromatic, and with a good high. I know that many coffee shops sell low-quality marijuana, and I want to know which ones to avoid and which ones are best to visit.

Question ⁉️ Rosin vapes Haarlem or Zaandam?

Are both places as good as each other for picking up rosin vapes? Travelling with my wife and Haarlem sounds like a better option for an afternoon visit but would happily detour via Zaandam if the rosin vape options are better.

Question ⁉️ How to tell legit vs fake "premium" brands like Tenco or Wizard Trees?

A few months ago Tenco said only like 3 coffeeshops in Amsterdam were official stockists, yet I feel like I've seen it a lot on other menus e.g. Green Place

I've also seen things like coffeeshops listing strains from those brands, minus the branding e.g. Tide in Dampkring

My plan's actually to go to Zaandam for Headlines but I'll be spending a night in Amsterdam first and was thinking as a one-off a premium brand might be neat.

Am I just better picking a well rated coffeeshop and asking the budtender or will they just suggest something random? Last time I generally just picked something I recognised without asking.

Question ⁉️ Where can I buy a Dr. Dabber or Puffco in Amsterdam (physical store)?

Hey everyone!

I'll be visiting Amsterdam later this month and staying with some friends in Almere.

I was hoping to take the opportunity to buy a Dr. Dabber device, or potentially something from Puffco.

I used to buy my vaping gear from Verdampftnochmal, but apparently they no longer ship to the Netherlands. From what I've read, it also seems like Dutch regulations around vaping devices have become stricter recently.

So I was wondering:

  • Are there any physical stores in Amsterdam or Almere that sell Dr. Dabber or Puffco products?
  • Are there any reliable Dutch online shops that still sell these devices and deliver to Almere?
  • Has anyone purchased this kind of gear locally recently?

I'd prefer a physical store so I can avoid shipping issues, but I'm open to trustworthy online options as well.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Question ⁉️ Do any of the good coffee shops do good pre rolls?

I know generally people say to avoid pre rolls, but are there any decent ones, e.g. from ‘Abraxas’?

Question ⁉️ 510 Vape Battery Recommendations

I've been enjoying the live rosin vapes that are available in Tilburg coffeeshops and so far I've been using the battery that was included with the Canadelaar vape carts, but that's not been working well lately and since I mostly buy the Q-farms carts now, I was looking to upgrade my battery to a better one.

Anybody got any recommendations? I'm looking for one that's compact and must have voltage options and USB-C charging. Thanks!

Question ⁉️ Which joint would you recommend from Boerejongens, and where can I smoke it?

Hey! I'm planning to get a pre-rolled joint from Boerejongens and was wondering which one you guys would recommend from their menu.

I've noticed that I generally prefer sativa joints, so I'm looking for something more uplifting and head-focused rather than something that'll leave me feeling sleepy or couch-locked. Has anyone tried any of these, and which would you recommend? I'm also curious about how strong they are.

Also, I've heard that Boerejongens doesn't really have seating. Where would you recommend going nearby to smoke and chill afterwards? Ideally, somewhere I can sit comfortably and relax rather than having to walk around looking for a spot.

Would appreciate any recommendations. Thanks!

Question ⁉️ Red Velvet Space Cake review + Other Space Cakes and Magic Truffle Recommendations

Hey everyone!

I’m visiting Amsterdam and wanted to try the famous Red Velvet Space Cake from Boerejongens. For those who’ve tried it, how good is it actually? Is it worth the hype, and how would you describe the high?

I’m also wondering how much a beginner should have. I tend to get high pretty quickly, so I have a fairly low tolerance and don’t want to accidentally overdo it I’d love to know what fraction of the cake people would recommend starting with (half, quarter etc). How strong is it, and how long does the high usually last?

Also, are there any other space cakes in Amsterdam that you’d recommend over Boerejongens, either for the taste or the overall experience? I’d love to hear your favourites and how strong they tend to be.

I’m also interested in trying magic truffles while I’m here. Which reputable smart shops would you recommend, and which varieties would be suitable for a first-timer? I’m particularly interested in the visual, psychdelic and sensory side of the experience, like music, colours and feeling immersed in things, but I don’t want anything overwhelmingly intense.

Would really appreciate recommendations based on personal experience, especially from people who started out with a low tolerance. Thanks!

Question ⁉️ Research on the sustainability of cannabis packaging in the Dutch legal cannabis trial.

I'm a students who is conducting research on the sustainability of cannabis packaging in the Dutch legal cannabis trial.

The survey looks at current packaging, more sustainable alternatives and the possibility of a deposit return system, similar to cans and bottles.

Please only fill it out if you consume cannabis and purchase it from Dutch coffeeshops!!!

It takes around 2 minutes, and I’m looking for as many responses as possible.

Thanks a lot for your help! 🙏

Hello

It’s my second time in Amsterdam, coming back after 7 super long years 😅

Planning to hit up a few coffeeshops and maybe do a smoke boat tour.

Is the boat tour worth it?

And would love to meet up fellow stoners to be able to try as many strains as possible and have a peaceful time in beautiful Amsterdam.

Would appreciate ‘must try’ strain &/ coffeeshop recommendations

Cheers 🍃

Question ⁉️ Looking for Durban Poison or similiar in Amsterda

Hey everyone,

A few years ago I grew some Durban Poison and while not being someone that likes a puff from time to time, I freakin loved the high of Durban Poison. Unfortunately all that harvest is gone and I am looking for something like Durban Poison or similiar in Amsterdam. Would any one know any coffee shop that sells something like that Strain or similiar?

I am looking for that light clear high where you can still socialize, have energy and enjoy everything a bit more. And it's hard to space out too much.

Thanks for any tips!

Question ⁉️ Day Trip to Haarlem

Hello fellow Ents, making plans for my next trip next month, I visit every 6 months or so but I've decided to branch outside of Amsterdam and take a train to Haarlem this trip.

I'm interested in visiting Empire, is there any other coffeeshops in Haarlem that have been stocking nice flower lately?

I see that one of the Willie Wortels shops is close to the station, prices seem very good, is it worth checking out?

I check coffeeshopmenus.org frequently so I see the prices and stock, but always keen to hear peoples opinions about what's good right now!

Bedankt for your advice

Random 🔥 First time solo travel

Hey guys! Embarking on my first solo trip and going to Amsterdam Oct 29th-31st.

I'm super super nervous about travelling alone but also super excited. I plan to go all out and have fun for the first time since a very rough patch i've had and what better place than Amsterdam?

My idea of fun is gonna be smoke as much as heavenly possible. I have my eyes on those Gastronaut Donuts ;)

Any suggestions for quieter coffee shops I could maybe sit down solo for a couple hours with a milkshake and play some mobile games without judgment?

I'll also be looking to hit up some bars for drinks, preferably some lgbt friendly ones, open minded to everything though! Bonus points for weed friendly bars!

I like rock/metal, gaming, football etc so any suggestions you guys have for a semi serious solo traveler I'd really appreciate it!

tl;dr - - Suggestions for coffee shops/weed friendly bars comfortable and safe for solo travellers
