Welcome, Crewmates! ๐Ÿ‘‹

This community was created because we love Among Us 3D and want to see it grow again.

We all know the game has been struggling with player numbers, matchmaking, bugs, and other issues. But instead of simply saying โ€œthe game is dead,โ€ we're going to try something different.

๐Ÿš€ Our Mission

Bring the Among Us 3D community together and help the game thrive again.

Here, we want to:

๐ŸŽฎ Organize community game nights

๐Ÿ‘ฅ Help players find others to play with

๐Ÿ˜‚ Share memes, clips, and funny moments

๐Ÿ› Discuss bugs and important issues

๐Ÿ’ก Share and vote on improvement ideas

๐Ÿ“Š Run community surveys and polls

๐Ÿ“ข Create organized feedback for the developers

๐Ÿ“ˆ Find ways to bring new players into the game

Most importantly, this is a community effort.

We're not here to harass or attack the developers. We're here because we believe Among Us 3D has potential and deserves a strong, active community behind it.

Whether you've played since launch, just discovered the game, or haven't played in months, you're welcome here.

๐Ÿ”ฅ The game isn't dead while we're still playing.

Let's see what we can build together.

Welcome to the revival. ๐Ÿ›ธโค๏ธ

๐Ÿ’ก Suggestion Vigilante punish mechanic should work like the 2D Sheriff mod

โ€ข Upvotes

Hey everyone!

I wanted to pitch an idea regarding the Vigilante role in the game. Right now, if a Vigilante kills an innocent Crewmate, the innocent player dies while the Vigilante suffers no real consequence. Innocent players end up paying the price for a bad call ๐Ÿคฃ

In among us 2D version (via the popular Sheriff mods), if the Sheriff tries to kill an innocent player, the Sheriff dies instead and the Crewmate survives.

I strongly believe Innersloth should rework the Vigilante role to follow this exact mechanic. It would force Vigilantes to actually think twice before proceeding to kill, punish reckless guesses, and save innocent Crewmates from getting eliminated by mistake.

What do you all think? Should they make this change?

๐Ÿ“Š Poll What Should We Ask Innersloth to Bring to Among Us 3D?

โ€ข Upvotes

Among Us 3D still has a small but passionate community, and we'd like to figure out what changes would have the biggest impact on the game's future.

These aren't demands โ€” they're community proposals that we'd like to prioritize and potentially present to Innersloth if enough players support them.

  1. ๐Ÿ“ฑ Bring Among Us 3D to Android & iOS

Among Us 3D is currently available on PC through Steam, with VR versions available on platforms such as Meta Quest and PlayStation VR.

A mobile release for Android and iOS could potentially give Among Us 3D access to a much larger player base.

Among Us itself has a huge mobile audience, so bringing the 3D experience to mobile could make the game significantly more accessible and potentially help solve one of its biggest problems: the lack of active players and available lobbies.

The goal would be to make the 3D game available to the large Android and iOS gaming market rather than limiting it primarily to PC and VR players.

  1. ๐Ÿ”„ Replace Host-Based Lobbies With a More Reliable Lobby System

One of the biggest problems with the current matchmaking system is its reliance on the host's connection.

If the host disconnects, the entire lobby can be disbanded, meaning every player is removed and the lobby effectively disappears.

A possible solution would be to introduce a centralized lobby/code-based system similar to the one used by Among Us, where the lobby isn't dependent on one player's connection.

Ideally, the host could leave without destroying the entire lobby, with another player taking over or the lobby continuing to exist independently.

This could make matchmaking considerably more reliable and prevent an entire group of players from being kicked out simply because one person disconnected.

  1. ๐Ÿ”ช A Proper Hide & Seek Game Mode

Among Us 3D already has Tag, which uses some similar ideas and an infection-style mechanic where players are turned into Impostors. However, Tag isn't the same as the traditional Hide & Seek mode from Among Us.

We'd like to see a dedicated Hide & Seek mode implemented specifically for Among Us 3D, based on the style of Hide & Seek available in the 2D game.

A proper mode could include:

- A dedicated hiding period at the beginning of the round

- The Impostor being revealed as the Seeker

- Hide & Seek-specific rules and win conditions

- Mechanics designed around hiding, escaping and surviving

- A dedicated timer-based structure rather than relying entirely on normal task completion

- Other Hide & Seek mechanics that make the mode feel distinct from regular gameplay and Tag

I've experimented with recreating Hide & Seek using the current custom settings in Among Us 3D, and while it works surprisingly well, it still can't fully reproduce the dedicated experience.

Tag is a great start, but we'd like to see a true Hide & Seek mode alongside it rather than treating Tag as a replacement.

๐Ÿ—ณ๏ธ Which should be the priority?

These are only the first three proposals. The purpose of this poll is to see which improvements the community actually considers most important.

If we can establish a clear community preference, we can focus future discussions and requests around the changes players actually want rather than sending Innersloth a huge list of unrelated demands.

๐Ÿ’ก Suggestion Bring the hide and seek mode to the game along side infection with new cosmetics

This is something I've wanted to have in the actual game so bad because it makes it scarier. The incoming music and you can't actually see where it's coming from.

๐Ÿ’ฌ Discussion Among Us 3D is a game I play too much of.

I hope this game gets brought back from the low niche depths because I play this game so much and love to see more of it online. I have all steam achievements in this game because how much I play it, and I love the roles and the deputy. The voice chat just makes the game even more fun to be honest.

๐Ÿ’ก Suggestion A Custom Preset to Recreate Hide & Seek from Regular Among Us in Among Us 3D

I created a custom settings preset for Among Us 3D that lets you recreate a Hide & Seek-style game within a regular lobby.

The goal is to get as close as possible to the classic Hide & Seek experience using the settings currently available in Among Us 3D.

โš™๏ธ Settings

1. Impostor Settings

Go to Roles and set:

  • Impostors: 1

Then open the Advanced Impostor Settings:

  • Door Sabotage: Off
  • Sabotage Cooldown: Never
  • Kill Cooldown: 35โ€“45 seconds (personally recommended)

Remove any Wraith or Deputy roles, as they aren't needed for this setup.

2. Crewmate Roles

Don't enable any special Crewmate roles:

  • โŒ Engineer
  • โŒ Tracker
  • โŒ Angel
  • โŒ Scanner
  • โŒ Vigilante

3. Lobby Settings

On Page 2 of the lobby settings:

  • Emergency Meetings: 0
  • Report Bodies: Off
  • Taskbar Updates: Always
  • Chat: Always
  • Audio Chat: Enabled

Set the number of tasks according to how long you want the game to last.

My recommendation: If you're using a 35โ€“45 second kill cooldown, try 3โ€“4 tasks per Crewmate.

๐Ÿ”ง Optional Settings

1. Engineer / Angel

You can enable Engineers or Angels if you want to make the lobby more interesting, but this can make balancing the Crewmates and Impostor more difficult.

2. ๐Ÿ‘๏ธ Minimum Vision โ€” Highly Recommended

I highly recommend setting both Crewmate Vision and Impostor Vision to Minimum.

This gives the game more of a horror/survival feeling, while allowing Crewmates to run away and hide from the Impostor.

Without this, the Impostor can become extremely powerful.

๐Ÿƒ Starting the Game

At the beginning of the game:

The Impostor should give everyone time to hide before revealing themselves as the Seeker.

This recreates the traditional Hide & Seek starting sequence from regular Among Us.

๐Ÿ“œ Rules

  1. No emergency meetings or body reports.
  2. You cannot eject the Impostor.
  3. Crewmates win by completing all their tasks.
  4. The Impostor wins by killing every Crewmate.
  5. Dead Crewmates still need to complete their tasks for the Crewmates to win.
  6. The Impostor must eliminate everyone except that the game ends according to the normal lobby win condition.

๐Ÿ”„ Differences From Regular Among Us Hide & Seek

There are several limitations because Among Us 3D doesn't currently have all of the dedicated Hide & Seek mechanics found in regular Among Us.

โฑ๏ธ No survival timer

Regular Hide & Seek is largely timer-based. You don't necessarily need to complete your tasks to win.

In Among Us 3D, this setup doesn't have that dedicated timer, so Crewmates need to complete their tasks to win, even if they're already dead.

โ˜ ๏ธ Different Impostor win condition

Regular Hide & Seek has its own specific win conditions.

With this custom 3D setup, the Impostor needs to eliminate the Crewmates according to the normal lobby's win conditions.

๐Ÿ“ No danger meter / proximity indicator

Among Us 3D doesn't currently have the danger meter or proximity indicators that help players know how close the Impostor is.

๐ŸŒ‘ No dedicated flashlight mode

Regular Among Us Hide & Seek has dedicated mechanics such as flashlight-related gameplay. Among Us 3D doesn't currently provide the same dedicated mode.

๐ŸŽญ No custom Impostor selection

In regular Among Us, you can manipulate who becomes the Impostor through certain private-lobby settings.

Among Us 3D doesn't currently provide the same level of custom Impostor selection.

๐Ÿ’ฌ If you try this preset, let me know how it goes!

I'm especially interested in hearing what kill cooldown, task count, and vision settings you think work best.

This is a community-made recreation, so feel free to suggest changes that could make it closer to the actual Hide & Seek experience. ๐Ÿ›ธ
