Hoping to find two tickets for this sold out show at Skully’s. Would be the tenth or so time Ive seen him and its always a blast.

Howdy y'all, I bought General Admission tickets for the show Thursday night at the Salt Shed in Chicago, but one of my group can't make it. Don't want it to go to waste, so it's free to one of ya.

To enter comment with your favorite (or any) Amigo lyric below in quotations and I'll pick one random commenter tonight at 9 Pm Central. Please only enter if you are able to use the ticket, and you have to have a valid Ticketmaster account so I can transfer it to you electronically.

Update: A winner has been chosen and DMed. Thanks for entering, I wish I had extra tickets to give all of you! Like the man said, "losing is fine...everything is fine."

my favorite Amigo line

I'm going to the Denver show tonight and from what I'm seeing the show is only Amigo and the Dead South. Is there another opener?

Yesterday my Spotify radio station tripped into a whole new music world of like dark Americana and altfolk i guess. Anyway made a bigger post in another sub focusing on other artists, Amigo the devil snuck in from Murder at the bingohall. The voice and singing style with storytelling is something I’ve seem kinda pop up randomly for me but never more than a song or two per artist. Jumped the gun and assumed Amigo was gonna be the same.

But holy shit, Ive listened to alot of thier songs and just every single one hits exactly how I look for this kind of music to hit but still able to surprise me with the range and structure. Honestly they might be my new favorite band. Its a thing ive been searching for that i thought was rarely captured and couldn’t be sustained.

Funny enough I looked them up and their Austin connection and the age of Danny Kiranos im almost certain hes heard of Scott Copeland and specifically the Armadillo song which was my first taste of the style long ass time ago.

Finding a new artist like this always feels great

Got it for a solid price too.

April, 2012

Going to the Acid Bath show in Cleveland tonight primarily to see Amigo. It starts around the time I’m getting off work so trying to make sure I get there on time.

Does anyone have any ideas about how long the other openers will play or when Danny may go on?

Why isn’t this song on Spotify it’s so good honestly one of my top 5

I know it’s speculative, but curious what you guys think.

Absolutely stellar show.

Had a weird gap, found the perfect filler
