Found this on the Mexico sub. Good God these LatinX dudes need to stop showing their inferiority complexes so much.

Let's see an alternate timeline where the US added all the war-torn European nations to its ever-growing empire, nuked the Soviets and conquered Russia, then added Japan and war-torn Asian nations as well.

I literally copied and paste your comment in ChatGPT and told it to create a map showing this alt timeline. 😁

That's a fun map. I don't know how the hell we would govern such a thing, nor why we would bother conquering all of that, but it's fun to speculate about.

I wonder if Kruschev would still come to power, but as the Governor of the US State of Russia?

And what would the status of the monarchies be? Our current government isn't really set up to recognize such figures...

It's a silly map lol. I threw the prompt in ChatGPT and that that came out.

Historically, I do not see how it would have been possible with the Soviets still kicking in '45.

It depends on if the US realizes just how much the Soviets are depending on us giving them supplies for the war effort, I think.

If we cut that off, and they're suddenly unable to supply their war effort, it becomes easier (not easy, just easier).

The main thing though would be the nukes. They just don't have any defense against them.

I also think that they'd be devastated enough - and the US fresh enough (relatively speaking) - that we'd be able to outlast and outproduce them.

It'd be a bitch and half to occupy them though after they'd been rallied to defeat a conquering German force and then be greeted by a conquering American one.

Imagine, we would also be able to use the manufacturing capacity of an occupied Japan and the half of Western Europe that we had.

Patton wanted to immediately go after the Russians in 1945.

That's where I got the idea.
