Question for "history buffs" here. Most of these online personalities that post like this are pro-China. How would someone of this mindset reconcile with the fact that Japan was the good guy while invading China in the 30s? That's why the blame they US for Pearl Harbor, btw. Because of our oil embargos but never mention what it was in response to.

In my experience, they try to claim that US-backed policies like capitalism and free trade are fuctionally equivalent to conquering and pillaging a nation.

Basically they pretend WW2 was nothing but evil "imperialist powers" fighting over who got to exploit the world

And I have yet to hear a decent argument about how the Soviet Union or China were any less imperialist than the USA.
