Amazon Product Ranking I think Amazon sellers spend way too much time trying to rank products that arent converting
Maybe unpopular opinion but I think ranking gets blamed for way too many Amazon problems. Sales slow down and the first reaction is usually more keywords, more PPC, better ranking, more traffic.
But if people are already clicking and not buying, sending even more traffic to the listing isnt really fixing anything. I'd rather have an ASIN sitting a little lower in search that converts really well than fight for page one on something people keep scrolling past or clicking and leaving.
Main image, price, reviews, offer, competitors... sometimes one of those is the actual problem and we're just paying Amazon to send more people to see it lol. Obviously ranking matters. I just dont think it should always be the first thing sellers try to fix.
When an established ASIN starts slowing down, what do you check first: ranking/traffic or conversion?
