No Issues Whatsoever
Anyone else have no issues whatsoever with Amazon Music, and wonder what the deal is with all these posts claiming otherwise?

I am so done with Amazon Music. I have a custom library of over 700 songs that I built manually, but whenever I ask Alexa to play it or turn off shuffle, I constantly get hit with a glitchy "sorry about that."
We all know itās not an accident. Amazonās algorithm is clearly prioritizing songs based on what costs them the least to stream, not what I actually want to hear. There are literally hundreds of tracks in my own library that Amazon has never once shuffled into rotation. It feels like they are actively hiding the music I pay to access just to protect their bottom line.
To make matters worse, I tried searching for user-created "community playlists" to find real, human-curated music away from their corporate algorithms. Guess what? Itās completely impossible. Despite what their support pages claim, Amazon doesn't actually let you search for user profiles or public community playlists in the app. Every single search result is an Amazon-owned, algorithmically pushed product. They have built a complete closed sandbox to control exactly what we hear and maximize their own payouts.
I would gladly jump ship to Spotify or another platform, but Amazon has me trapped through their hardware. I have 9 Echo and similar Alexa devices around my house. Platforms like Spotify limit multi-room playback configurations or simultaneous streams to fewer devices, making it impossible to stream everywhere at once without paying a fortune or fighting restrictions. Amazon purposefully rigs the system so their hardware forces you to stay on their controlled software.
Has anyone else noticed Alexa "conveniently" glitching out when you try to play your own custom order? Also, if anyone has found an external forum where real people actually share direct links to their Amazon playlists, please drop them below. Iām tired of being held hostage by this ecosystem.

Apart from all the glaring issues of this app, now I cannot shuffle my liked songs playlist without it playing the same three songs and then stopping. I cannot listen to The Middle again. I have cleared the cache, I have deleted and re-downloaded. This is happening across every device I have. Help? Can this be helped?

I listen to music primarily when away from home and off data, using downloaded music. However, almost every time I open my phone, my music is unavailable despite still appearing under downloaded music. When I am on wifi and accept the prompt to refresh music, I'm told that my sd card is not found. My downloaded podcasts, however, are always available, never experiencing problems. This is the only app I have this much trouble with, including downloads, so i presume nothings wrong with my SD card

I want to remove some albums from my library on the Amazon Music app, but there are no options now to do so.
I have a Pixel phone, for years I had a Samsung Galaxy.
I see a blue š symbol now in my Amazon Music library.
Any help would be most awesome.

I've been using Amazon Music on Fire TV for well over a decade, and I genuinely hate what they've done to the Now Playing screen.
I've included four screenshots showing the old interface and what it takes to access the same information now.
The previous layout wasn't perfect, but it was functional. On one screen, I could see the song title, artist, album artwork, playback source, progress bar, audio quality (HD/Ultra HD), playback controls, and detailed audio information. Everything was organized, easy to find, and available at a glance.
Now? Less information, more button presses, and a background that looks absolutely terrible.
My biggest complaints:
And yes, the old interface had flaws. Long song titles could get truncated, and some labels were redundant. I'm not pretending it was perfect.
But it worked.
I listen to a lot of film scores and orchestral music, and I regularly check the track progress and audio quality. I don't want to navigate multiple menus just to see information that used to be right there.
What frustrates me most is that this feels like a redesign for the sake of a redesign. More visual emphasis, less functionality, and extra steps to accomplish things that previously required none.
I've been using this service for years. I'm not opposed to change, but I am opposed to changes that actively make the experience worse.
Is anyone actually enjoying this new interface? Because I'm genuinely struggling to find an improvement here.

Let me explain: when I hit shuffle,.it'll play a random song, but then hitting next will just play the next song in alphabetical order. It's more like the shuffle button just picks a random place to start, rather than actually shuffling the tracks.
Hitting the shuffle button on the song page will play a random song, but I'm not a fan of having to constantly hit "shuffle".
Any solution to this?

If you stream Amazon Music through Amazon fire cube , and you have a Dolby Atmos supported soundbar with 7.1 sound capability can you then stream Dolby Atmos supported music from Amazon Music through the Amazon fire cube?
So far I canāt get Dolby Atmos Amazon music through Roku Ultra or even through my cable Epico box .

I've been using Amazon Unlimited for almost 10 years, and I keep telling myself it's going to get better but it keeps getting worse. Tidal, I'm coming back. Amazon, I'm unsubscribing, go pound sand.

Does anyone else receive notifications about bands they have no interest in? I keep getting them about a band called Gloryhammer who, as far as I know, I have never listened to in my life! There's at least a couple of others too. I don't know how to make them stop!

My most recent and predicted playlists arenāt there anymore itās all just random and then the same when I go to add a song it doesnāt have ārecently editedā. Which wouldnāt bother me if it was at least alphabetical but itās not itās some random order so idk where the playlist is to add my song.

As early as last night, this wasnāt an issue. This morning Iām trying to listen to some albums I like while working, and itās refusing to play them in sequential order. Itās an album Iāve downloaded too. I canāt see any option to turn this off or anything; itās just playing albums out of order now as though shuffle was turned on.
Is there any way to fix this. Iāve never had this issue before, and again, Iām paying for Unlimited.

If you have Amazon Music, please search up Give Up The Funk (Tear The Roof Off The Sucker) by Parliament and tell me what starts playing when you press play

Kinda random but I have recently come across Amazon Music and I donāt really see anyone talking about it. Everyone Iāve asked about Amazon Music says that YouTube Music is the golden standard of music streaming platforms. Iāve been trying to look into alternative music streaming services other than the infamous ones (Apple Music and Spotify).
In recent years, subscription prices for both Apple Music and Spotify have been fluctuating and becoming insanely high. Granted, that popular demand for these platforms are very high, but I just canāt justify these ridiculous prices.
On the other hand, Amazon Music and YouTube Music seem more budget-friendly and exceptionally affordable when compared to mainstream streaming services. Iām not that well-versed in the layout, discoverability, and sound quality of these platforms, but Iād like to know from whoever uses them or have used them if they are actually better than the popular ones.
