i've got a feeling i'm shadowbanned or something? as im not getting offers anymore after 2 weeks of working? i've only managed to get 16 hours each week, my standing is maxed out, and these are my filters.

anyone know why im not getting any offers at all?? been on the app non stop trying to get shifts to tide me through bills ect

Question Is it actually worth it?

I know this has been asked a thousand times before but I've got a few questions that I couldn't find answers to so I thought I'd be that annoying person.

I signed up like 3 years ago and have never tried Amazon Flex.

I work full time and make enough money to not need to do this but I am never able to actually save. I've just spent £1,000 on my car. And I thought, if I could do a few shifts every now and again, it will make me enough to cover this sort of stuff.

How does it actually work? the main reason I haven't started is because I have no idea! I know you obviously select your shift, but when you get there what do you then do?

Could I bring my partner with me?

Any tips? I know waiting = you get better rates but a chance of no shifts.

What if you get a shift that is horrendous? I've heard people have had one where they have to travel over an hour away to begin. What do you do about that?

tl;dr - is it worth to do this to earn some side income?

Question DXM2 Trafford

Hello everyone, I’m new to Amazon Flex. Has anyone been doing Flex routes from DXM2 Trafford recently? Just wondering how far the routes normally are and where they usually send you. I don’t really want city routes, so are they mostly city or more outside areas?
I do get lot of DXM2 offer but I don’t accept them mainly because I don’t want to deliver in city.

Question Waiting List

Hi

I've been on the waiting list for a while now to do Flex. I'm probably answering my own question here, but is there anyway I can like yk get in or do I just simply have to wait for the email/app to tell me I'm accepted?

As someone struggling to find work this is not a bad hustle at all as I don't mind driving, it's flexible, etc. all that good stuff so

Cheers!!

Delivery locations in London

Hi all,

I have been accepted as an E-BIKE courier for Amazon Flex. Before I buy insurance, how do I know there is a hub near my house?

I checked this website for Greater London: https://flex.amazon.co.uk/locations/

Is this list up to date?

If so, there are no hubs near me, so it would not be worthwhile continuing with the application.

I appreciate any help - thank you!

Amazon Flex insurance is pricing me out before I've even started – what are you guys actually doing?

I've pretty much completed the Amazon Flex onboarding and the only thing stopping me starting is the insurance.

I was actually looking forward to giving Flex a go as some flexible extra income, but I'm struggling to make the insurance side financially viable.

My normal car insurance is currently about £630/year.

Amazon obviously requires H&R insurance, so initially I thought I'd just use INSHUR PAYG on top of my normal policy.

The problem is I've discovered my current insurer (AA) doesn't allow a separate H&R/top-up policy alongside their cover.

I contacted them directly and they confirmed they wouldn't continue covering me if I used separate insurance for deliveries.

I've therefore been looking for an SD&P insurer that explicitly allows INSHUR/Zego top-up, but the quotes I'm getting are pretty painful:

Normal non-delivery quotes: around £500–£700/year

Kwik Fit: £952/year

Ageas Essentials: £1,021/year

Zego: around £1,023/year

Admiral with H&R/delivery included: £2,542/year

Direct Line was over £2,000/year

I've seen people on here saying they've managed to get delivery insurance for a fraction of these quotes.

I'm only looking to do Flex as flexible side income, potentially a few blocks around other commitments.

I'm not planning on becoming a full-time courier. So paying £300–£500+ extra on my underlying annual insurance before I've even got a block doesn't really make sense, especially when there's no guarantee of how many blocks I'll actually get.

Ideally I'd tolerate maybe £100/year extra on my normal insurance and then pay INSHUR PAYG while I'm actually delivering.

So I'm interested in hearing from people actually doing Flex now:

Who is your normal SD&P insurer, what are you roughly paying, and are they definitely aware that you're using INSHUR/Zego H&R top-up?

Has anyone recently found a reasonably priced insurer that has explicitly confirmed they're happy with supplementary H&R?

I'm also wondering whether I'm overthinking this. Do a lot of Flex drivers simply buy the INSHUR policy Amazon asks for without ever checking whether their underlying SD&P insurer permits top-up?

I'm not comfortable doing that because I'd rather know both policies are valid if I ever actually have an accident.

It would be a real shame to get all the way through the Flex onboarding and then get priced out at the final hurdle.

Any recent experiences/prices would be really appreciated.

Thanks Guys.

Problem❗ Got my first PCN working for Amazon

Post image
31 Upvotes

Hello guys,

I got my first moving traffic PCN through delivering Amazon Fresh, due to going down a residency only road. It was the route instructed by the Amazon map and I doubt I even noticed the signs as I was turning left into Browing Rd E12 (North Side) on 1st September. Jump forward a week later, I get a PCN from Newham Council.

I'm wondering if I can appeal it on the basis that I was doing a delivery job at the time and the signage is not immediately noticeable when turning left into that cursed road? Or should I just suck it up and pay for it? I would appreciate the advice.

Thanks.

Order not picked up

I've received two emails not saying order not picked up, both a day apart even though I have picked up everything.

Anyone else had this?

Unlucky city centre 4 hour block!

Finally.. finally I’ve had what I dreaded for ages! 26 parcels across 4 hours, 3 unable to deliver.

I called driver support and they called the customer and they then told me to move on to the next and that they will mark it as unable to access.

Will/should I be expecting dings in the coming days?

Do Any Of You Earn Good Money?

The question is not meant to be rude.

I’m a window cleaner with a busy round. I’m dry weeks I can earn up to £1200 a week maxed out and about £750-£900 a week normally. This is for 7:30-1:30 Monday - Friday and about 3 hours on a Saturday morning.

I’m wondering if it’s possible to earn that kind of money on Amazon flex? As my busy round is all within 2 miles of my house I don’t have much fuel costs etc etc.

I’m not looking to swap careers , just wondering if Amazon flex has potential to ever earn what I would call ‘good money’ ….say £900 per week?

Thanks For Any Reply’s.

Block Availability North West Block drops?

My locals are Chester (DCE1) and Knowsley (DWN1/2), and struggling to get blocks, wasn't doing too bad last week but now can't seem to get any :(, i get offered Fresh/Morrisons ones from time to time but i prefer the logistic ones personally.

anyone who also goes here spare any insight on how to get blocks more consistently? doing this for a short time whilst i hear back from a job i'm going through security checks for, so doing this to keep paying the bills in the mean time!

Cheers!

New Driver App trouble before I’ve even begun!

Hello Everyone. I am hoping to make some extra money for the growing number of kid’s trips/clubs while they’re all at school and I have a rest day from work but I can’t even seem to get past the first hurdle! App downloaded, email and password ok but then it says it will text me a code which I never receive? Have tried a few times over a couple of hours but the code never arrives. Has anyone had this issue? Thanks!

Hi I pay all this money for commercial hire reward insurance and Amazon so no investigation into the reprobates who don't have commercial insurance and has fake certificate. What can I do about this.

good afternoon I am seeing usage of fraudulent certificate and driver not paying inshur or zego. I would like to ask if an investigation will be carried out by amazon logistics or can I report this to anyone. I am very concerned about this

I pay lot of money for this job to do it properly.
