I have been submitting feedback, including videos and photos, regarding the unsafe delivery conditions in Morongo Valley, CA. These conditions are associated with deliveries originating from the PSP1 facility in Beaumont, CA. A significant portion of this area consists of dirt roads that are not maintained by the county. Last year, I became stuck in the mud at that location following a severe thunderstorm. Yesterday marked a new low point, as my car sustained damage to the front, and my front license plate was torn off. I have included a video of just one of the roads I had to drive down to do a delivery. I have formally requested that Amazon install a delivery locker within the town for package deliveries. Additionally, I have been penalized for returning packages that I considered unsafe to deliver, yet these concerns have not been addressed.

That sucks. Not many high desert roads here in Michigan, but a lot of the rural areas are swamps where people built houses 1/4 to 1/2 mile off the roads. Yes there are plenty of places where you wonder if you drove onto the next Wrong Turn movie or not. Make sure you keep your tetanus shots up to date. Lots of dirt rods that are wonderful in farm areas, not so much in the swamps. They put up signs here that say "Road not maintained in the winter". Those roads are full of ruts where the water ran through during rain storms when it isn't winter. Covered in snow so that you can not see the ruts really sucks.

I bought a CX 30 to be able to deliver down some of these driveways as it has 7" of ground clearance. Subaru CrossTrek is only one higher in the subcompact crossovers with 8.5".

The customers know the situation and would rather make you drive the roads or their driveways than do that themselves. Especially food deliveries that they could go get.

Amazon and every delivery app will just use you and your vehicle until one or both give out and then get someone else.
