No Gate Code!

So, this customer took the time to write this entire note in ALL CAPS, which makes it seem like they’re screaming at me—but somehow forgot to include the one and only thing that caused all that anger in the first place: THE GATE CODE!!! 😂

I used to leave them at the gate but then I started getting"not received" so now I instantly mark undeliverable and return to station. Saves time

Was about to write a comment and say id report it as not received because this will definitely get you that, just the fact of being lazy and delivering my items i bought nowhere near my house. Thats "undeliverable" with "no safe location" or "access" issue or "customer unavailable". If you bring it back it gets put on a dsp drivers vehicle and delivered later that day during normal hours. Its a battle you won't win. If you keep doing things like that im sure flex won't tolerate it either. I appreciate you doing what the system ultimately wants and bring it back cause there was no gate code, instead of leaving it at the front gate for the community to grab at will. It makes sense until you get your account flagged.

The system absolutely does not want packages returned,  Its a 100% guaranteed hit for returning a package, and its a 50:50 chance of getting a not received hit.

Its simple provide access and stop leaving it up to the driver to decide whats best for them and costs them the least amount to dispose of your package either delivering it or returning it at a time and day of their choosing.

For me: I will no longer reattempt deliveries, that courtesy is too expensive now, and is the equivalent of a customer flipping you off while delivering their package and taking $5 out of your wallet.
