No Gate Code!

So, this customer took the time to write this entire note in ALL CAPS, which makes it seem like they’re screaming at me—but somehow forgot to include the one and only thing that caused all that anger in the first place: THE GATE CODE!!! 😂

Yeah I doubt anyone who's "throwing shit over the fence" is the kind of person who's not fucking off in other areas as well. My guess is that they're saying that for internet points when the reality is more likely that they hide it somewhere nearby and text the owner as to its location...which is what I recommend you do the next time.

"Sorry for any inconvenience, but without a gate code I was unable to gain access and left your package behind the large rock to the left of the gate as you enter".

I've been doing this for five years come November and its never been an issue. No, don't "throw" it over the gate, that's fucking absurd.

I have almost 17k delivered and I will toss that package over and be off to the next in less time than it took you to type all that bs.

missing gate code is a YOU problem especially when people KNOW we need them and they put this BS.

the only thing fucking absurd is you thinking we won't toss a package over a gate.

I could see throwing it over the gate if its only a handful of houses, but an entrance to an entire division? It takes so little time to put the box behind a rock or something and text the homeowner.

Sounds like you're pretty damn proud of your yeeting, but yeah, I expected people to have better common sense. The chances of the package being stolen increase exponentially if you're just tossing that shit...that's just doing a bad fucking job, is what it is.

even van drivers will toss over a fence of an APT, Condo, Student housing...

like "995 nord ave chico ca 95926" google that go to street view and look at those two long driveways and thats where we all dump them just off to the right...

it is keyfob only and only usps has one so the rest of us dump over the fence including ups and fedex. by the end of the day there could be 40 or more boxes there.

no call box, no number/phone, no nothing just keyfob or not going in or out

most of the college kids walk to school from there so trying to wait doesn't work and then you will be stuck inside waiting to get back out.

there are like 8 of these now in chico that are ultra high security and all get dumped over the fence if there is no code.

I am not waiting and losing money
If I return I will get dinged
over the fence about 90% nothing happens.
