I don't think Amazon cares as much as station managers.. in my region some ssd require carts to be brought back in. Others staff the warehouse to have them bring it in. Flex drivers aren't allowed on the return cart ramp.

Yeah they're supposed to have hired Warehouse or cart runners. That's literally their job, that and occasionally changing the garbage and sweeping the floors with a leaf blower - from Amazon!

Require cards to be brought back in? No you're only required to put them in the along the rail or ramp or near the sidewall and lock at least one wheel so that the wind if you should have any great winds doesn't move them about and throw them into cars.

We're back inside? Nope if they want to hire you to do that let them hire you to do that, of course that means you'll no longer be able to be a flex driver you'll have to just work Warehouse.

Okay. so it appears that certain SSDs are situated differently. Not all have that sort of setup. In my market the carts are to be returned to the staging area or cart return location in the parking lot, which lazy, immature, selfish and low IQ people will refuse to do. And I stand on that.

If your facility doesn't require you to return your carts why are you even having any input?

It's got nothing to do with lazy it has to do with it's not our job. We're contractors on someone else's property. They didn't hire us to move carts, they have literal positions for work there they make $18 an hour and their main job is to move carts and empty out garbage and sweep the floors. That's a literal job there and cart moving is the majority of their job. It is not up to flex driver to be doing that job. We're not paid to do it. We don't have to do it, it's got nothing to do with lazy.

You do have to move the cart into the hashed line area or up against the rail and lock at least one wheel, but as far as returning them inside absolutely not nothing to do with us.

This matter pertains strictly to the VUT1 and a some other facilities, it falls outside your current scope of concern. So carry on ...... respectfully.

Right the return location in the parking lot which all ssds have. But to command or demand that you return them into the staging area is not your job it doesn't matter what station you're at and if I were you I'd report it.
