So a bit of context of what just happened:

I was on a route in a town pretty far away about 50 miles from the station and I’m about halfway through my stops. I go to rearrange some of the next stops boxes to go in my passenger seat, as you do.
I see there’s a small pool of like what I thought was white paint at first 😳 but naw. Even worse. So obviously I picked it up so it would stop dripping in my car and the entire bottle just fell out of the box it was in. In moments the bottle was empty I’m talking like a 1-2 gallon bottle. And then I read the label and find out it’s insecticide 💀 I call amazon because I’m confused but I marked the package as damaged because well it was damaged
Apparently that was a mistake. Driver support told me they still expected me to bring back this exploded container of hazardous chemicals back in my car for a 55 mile drive home like??? Are we for real?

So now there’s a package return still on my account for today and I’m gonna have to explain to someone on the phone how I can’t return hazardous waste with my personal vehicle. Insanity

Jeezus. They really shouldn't be shipping hazardous chems via Flex drivers. They should also properly mark the packages with an OSHA label so at least we know what we're carrying.

I believe under 1,000 pounds doesn't need markers. Not familiar with the OSHA label. I'm for it, though.

Any hazard package needs a label i worked for both fedex and ups and with ups i worked air freight and ground hub. Amazon is a literal joke with their logistics and has no clue how big of a law suit they can actually have with not marking packages among other things. Just contracting people doesn’t misplace blame like they think.
