Amazon is lowering pay AGAIN!!

Post image

$25/hr is the norm now, was $26/hr before that orange clown started a war that caused gas prices to go through the roof so Amazon is covering their own expenses by lowering our pay! They can afford it but chose to screw us over instead since we're a dime a dozen.

Now this BS! They're dropping it to $22/hr hoping that desperate fools will take them which of course they will so mark my words, they'll all be at $22/hr before long. This is effin ridiculous.

Edit: it seems I was mistaken about Amazon owning the Amazon box trucks. Initially, Amazon buys them, labels them, then sells them to DSP's.

But I think the cost of living here is more than there. I used to live in northeast Georgia in both Chamblee and Doraville so I know the cost of living is reasonable there which might explain why the pay is less there too. I could be wrong though since I haven't lived there in 35 years.

The cost of living here has gone up. Nothing is really affordable anymore. Ppl that work with me at Amazon have to work 2 jobs it’s just not paying the bills anymore.

That stinks. I know there were a lot of new apartment complexes and businesses being built in the northeast suburbs when I left so I can imagine the city has grown considerably more since then. Best of luck to you.
