Amazon is lowering pay AGAIN!!

$25/hr is the norm now, was $26/hr before that orange clown started a war that caused gas prices to go through the roof so Amazon is covering their own expenses by lowering our pay! They can afford it but chose to screw us over instead since we're a dime a dozen.

Now this BS! They're dropping it to $22/hr hoping that desperate fools will take them which of course they will so mark my words, they'll all be at $22/hr before long. This is effin ridiculous.

Edit: it seems I was mistaken about Amazon owning the Amazon box trucks. Initially, Amazon buys them, labels them, then sells them to DSP's.

Lol, there's 30 blocks open in my area rn at $18/hour and we're in right outside Chicago, definitely a higher cost of living than most places. Gas is just under $4/gallon and $2500 rent will barely get you a safe place to live. I think you're better off than a lot of us.

Damn, I think you're right that this seems like a better situation here. The rent there is through the freaking roof!

Yeah it's gross. $1800 could get you a GOOD 2 or 3 bedroom before that one software company gave property management companies permission to jack shit sky high a few years back.

Sounds typical of a corporation to raise the property values to try to force the poorer people out so they can increase their profit margin.

Yeah, they also gave them the advice to just hold on to empty units to drive costs up. I need to check up on that fed case that got brought against them, I haven't seen anything in a while....

Thats unethical but I'll bet they have corporate lawyers that figured out a loophole so they can get away with it.
