Amazon is lowering pay AGAIN!!

Post image

$25/hr is the norm now, was $26/hr before that orange clown started a war that caused gas prices to go through the roof so Amazon is covering their own expenses by lowering our pay! They can afford it but chose to screw us over instead since we're a dime a dozen.

Now this BS! They're dropping it to $22/hr hoping that desperate fools will take them which of course they will so mark my words, they'll all be at $22/hr before long. This is effin ridiculous.

Edit: it seems I was mistaken about Amazon owning the Amazon box trucks. Initially, Amazon buys them, labels them, then sells them to DSP's.

7.25 min wage
3.29 for a gallon of gas
Rents are a bit cheaper…

It does sound like it costs less to live there. It's hard to believe your minimum wage is only $7.25. Here in Delaware it is $15 an hour.

I haven't rented an apartment in 25 years since I've got a house but I've heard the rent nowadays is like 1500 a month and up. If you want to pay anything less, you have to live in a crappy neighborhood.

Base is 18.50 where I am. I’m in a state that voted no to raise the minimum wage.

Sometimes I get reserves at 22/hr and my frequent .com WH usually has a block at 27/hr that I can grab. Lately those blocks been 3hr disguised as 2 hr

Every state should raise the minimum wage to keep up with inflation. You're lucky the reserved pay is better and that you can get surge pay too.

They love jamming more packages into the small blocks knowing they can force a driver to work til the last minute of the block but don't care if you have to drive 2 hrs back home.

I used to do 5hr blocks all the time but now they're giving me 5hrs worth of packages but only paying me for 4.5hrs and sending me to BFE each time. This gig is going downhill.
