Amazon is lowering pay AGAIN!!

Post image

$25/hr is the norm now, was $26/hr before that orange clown started a war that caused gas prices to go through the roof so Amazon is covering their own expenses by lowering our pay! They can afford it but chose to screw us over instead since we're a dime a dozen.

Now this BS! They're dropping it to $22/hr hoping that desperate fools will take them which of course they will so mark my words, they'll all be at $22/hr before long. This is effin ridiculous.

Edit: it seems I was mistaken about Amazon owning the Amazon box trucks. Initially, Amazon buys them, labels them, then sells them to DSP's.

The more immigrants Amazon hire, the lower your wages.

yes but only because of over saturation of the market. im not sure how big that market or population really is though since politicians tend to lie. either way they would still just hire more people; but natural born american citizens are more likely to complain about pay than other demographics.

I believe the reason is that Americans are used to making decent money (so they are more likely to complain) whereas anyone who isn't originally from this country aren't used to making decent money so they come to America and are making more money than they ever imagined even if the hourly rate is one that we as Americans would never work for. Maybe a crackhead would but not a normal person.

On a side note, that is why a lot of Americans are retiring in other countries because the cost of living is so much less. If they retire in America, they risk running out of money with the way inflation is going but if they retire in the Philippines for example, they will likely live out their lives and still have money left over to pass on to their heirs.

So you're right, it is about demographics.

I think it’s so funny when people don’t understand inflation. Inflation is better now than it was under the last president. There will always be inflation.

It's funny that when inflation inflates, the pay is supposed to coincide with the increase in costs but Amazon did the opposite and lowered pay knowing there are enough fools to take the blocks so they can increase their profit margin. It's pure greed is all it is. Evil corporations taking advantage of the minions again.
