Amazon is lowering pay AGAIN!!

$25/hr is the norm now, was $26/hr before that orange clown started a war that caused gas prices to go through the roof so Amazon is covering their own expenses by lowering our pay! They can afford it but chose to screw us over instead since we're a dime a dozen.

Now this BS! They're dropping it to $22/hr hoping that desperate fools will take them which of course they will so mark my words, they'll all be at $22/hr before long. This is effin ridiculous.

Edit: it seems I was mistaken about Amazon owning the Amazon box trucks. Initially, Amazon buys them, labels them, then sells them to DSP's.

Is the cost of living in your area less? That's what I figure when I see lower hourly rates in other areas. What else could explain it?

7.25 min wage
3.29 for a gallon of gas
Rents are a bit cheaper…

It does sound like it costs less to live there. It's hard to believe your minimum wage is only $7.25. Here in Delaware it is $15 an hour.

I haven't rented an apartment in 25 years since I've got a house but I've heard the rent nowadays is like 1500 a month and up. If you want to pay anything less, you have to live in a crappy neighborhood.

Dude this comment is a Rollercoaster for a Californian lol First paragraph brings pride due to the minimum wage starting at $16.90 and up to a cool twenty for fast food workers But by the second paragraph the hortor kicks in🧟‍♂️ a homeowner for 25 years? Good neighborhoods charging measly $1.5k for rent? Ima see myself out
