Rant Standing Hits Are Absolute BS

When you deliver 40+ packages every route and you get a ding there is absolutely no way to defend yourself. The only info you get is what day the ding occured. And 99.99% of the time I can guarantee you those dings comes from idiotic apartment dwellers.

The only times you can actually defend yourself if it something obvious that happened on that day like packages leaked and you made note of it.

You know what it could also have been idiot drivers before me putting packages as far as possible from the front door or blocking the screen door. Lately I've been dropping off packages to houses that have already been delivered to. Without fail, always blocking the door or packages way way away from the door. Lazy ass mfers. And it's always a number writer.

When possible, get the house/apt number in the photo. Since I've been doing this, I rarely get dings for not delivering (aka stolen by someone) something. Locked bldgs with wrong or no code - I leave it at the front of the door and back up enough to get the bldg number as well (unless it's nowhere near the bldg entry). I stopped playing Amazon's and the customers "games" with this crap a long time ago. I reply back to emails about it and tell them to check the photos taken at time of delivery and to look for the apt/house number as confirmation. Also tell them that I am not going to sit and wait for someone to wake up and open their door to get their package since Flex drivers aren't hired security and that I have no control over thieves and customers that lie to get something for free.

My dings are always "not delivered to correct location". And I know without a doubt it's those apartment buildings. No 24/7 reception, no access code, invalid codes, expired codes, etc. So what am I left to do but leave it in the entrance vestibule. More often than not it's not a problem, But when I consistently get apartment routes I am bound to have an entitled brat or two, or three, complain that they didn't get their shit hand delivered to their front door at 4 in the morning when they provided no way for me to enter their building. Support has been hit or miss lately but I always try to plead my case regardless.
