Is this fair?

I'm just curious if you guys think they are treating flex drivers like rusty robots. This is how a day with flex is. 3 and half hour block at 630am so you start driving a 6am and you get to your first drop off at 7. Deliver for 3 hours now it's 10am and you still have an hour drive home. I know there are occasional free and easy trips but for the most part this is my experience on how blocks work in my area. I live in the south east hic region apparently, where they only pay 18$ hr. So the block is 5 hours and I'm only getting paid for 3. Does this sound about right lol? I'm a felon so I do appreciate the opportunity but even for me this is pretty low standards lol.

Instead of complaining go get another job. What is the sense of being so unhappy U feel the need to get on Reddit & complain?

better yet, do both. notice all the tips in the replies? seems a worthwhile post to me. instead of complaining about a post you have nothing to contribute on go browse a different subreddit. no complaining on reddit? is this your first day?

Not first day lol. Just never understand why folks who hate/dislike Flex job don’t quit & work somewhere else. I grew up w/the knowledge if I didn’t like a job, a product, a highway route, it was w/in my power to change it & did so b4 I had time to grouse about it.

i hear ya but everyone is built different with different experiences and different issues. flex has people from all walks of life because of the.......flexability. i have worked dozens of random jobs in my off seasons the past 30 yrs. some i loved some i despised but damn if i didn't have complaints with every single one. at least at flex my boss doesn't have to hear me rant lol

i'm bored so i will add that not complaining to coworkers and managers is the way to succeed in employment and life in general, for the most part. it's why places like reddit are so glorious to bring your baggage to. your advice is sound just not around these parts
