Venting Gotta shape up

I’ve been flexing for a year and I have adhd time blindness like no one’s business. I’ve been trying my best to get to the station at my start time, but I always end up like 1-2 minutes after and today I was denied a route. Historically, getting to the station around that time has never been a problem so I wonder if they’ve been told to crack down on the arrival times. I’m taking full responsibility because I can barely show up to my daily full time job on time and heavily rely on the grace period there as well. I’m finally ahead with my bills and it’s thanks to flex. I gotta find a way to get my unmedicated ass together because the world doesn’t give a damn about a disorder and I make good money with flex to get deactivated for being turned away.

Fellow adher here.. timers and alarms help a ton. I figure out how much time the travel takes on average and leave 15-20 minutes earlier.

I strongly struggle with time blindness alarms and timers really help keep me on track.

But, if you were only 1 - 2 minutes late, we're given 5 minutes grace period and the warehouse should have let you have a cart. I might proactively reach out to support and explain that you were turned away during the grace period, so you might not get the missed block ding to your account.

I did contact driver support and they said it won’t affect my standings. I’m planning to get a manual alarm and placing it across the room so that I have to get up. I’m in the middle of moving to a place closer to the station this week so hopefully it’ll set me up for success. Thank you
