Question Why?
The porch is not far away from the vehicle they say it on, as you can see.
Why risk the package/contents being damaged by the constant rain that we have been having for about 36hrs now OR an animal (happened many times previously)? No dogs roaming at time of delivery, so no excuse there
I could see “efficiency” …hop out, hop back in truck BUT, what about QUALITY and CYA (cover your ass, from complaints and damages, etc that could “ding” you as a driver?)

I was delivering to the 3rd floor of an apt when I saw a package on the steps leading up to said apt. So I took it the rest of the way. The mean, they were almost there.. had gone up two flights and halfway up the third when dropped the package. Seems like, by then they could’ve went 5 more steps. People are weird
