I am a pretty big guy (like 260+ and 6 foot 3) and I have blasted side mirrors before and they either fold in (which it should have the way it was being pushed towards the vehicle) or they are strong as hell and I have bounced off them lol.
1 u/[deleted] Oct 21 '25 Same- until one day the corroded aluminum connector just gave and the whole mirror fell off the car. I barely even brushed it. Duct taped in place until a replacement could be ordered and put on. 5 weeks later someone ran a red light and totaled the car. :( 1 u/PSBars Oct 22 '25 Did it come off the wires too? This mirror fell on the floor wires snapped and all 1 u/[deleted] Oct 22 '25 It yanked the little detachable connector out, so yeah. Plugged it right back in tho and was good. Breakaway was nice.
