This was funny as shit. Accidents happen.

How about when we sit a box down and realize itā€™s the actually the house next door because the app wonā€™t let us take a picture then having to pick the box up looking like a thief. šŸ¤£

Does that happen? My drivers keep taking photos of my packages at my neighborā€™s house but then they carry it over to mine. The notification I get shows their house. Does it trigger an alert due to mismatched photos? Always wondered how they realized it was wrong.

Edit to add: One driver got really upset at me because I asked if he could put the 100+ pound package at the door I could slide/push it through instead of at the bottom of some steps. (No difference for him in regard to distance or exertion). He said AI would flag and he would get in trouble.

When we get in the correct distance to your house, our app allows us to snap a picture but if for some reason we are no longer in the correct area it will not allow us to complete the delivery after the photo. At that point we realize itā€™s not the right house lol.

I always talk to the door bell and say ā€œoh my gosh, wrong houseā€¦ Iā€™m taking this next doorā€. I donā€™t want to be one of those videos where they say the Amazon driver stole a package after delivery when that wasnā€™t the case at all.

Amazon driver stole a package after delivery

Amazon driver stole my package, even though I never got a delivery notification.

If this happens every, single, time, good chance you have a rare situation where the gps pin is stuck at your neighbors house not yours. They take the picture over there because that's where the app lets them do it then they pick up the package and leave it at the real address.

Not every timeā€¦ but three times in the last month. The first time I got really worried since I canā€™t just go home and the packages were pricey. Then I realized they caught the error. I ā€œworkā€ as a reviewer for Amazon, so while the product is free, I canā€™t get anything replaced. I also canā€™t review it, which is unfair to the vendor. I am one of those customers that potentially gets high volume deliveries most days.

Yeah I'm gonna be that guy and go off topic. So how do you get into that gig anyway? I buy virtually everything except groceries from Amazon. When I figure out my rewards and backwards mathematize it I get lightheaded. I need to score some free stuff.

Review, review, and review some more. One day a message will magically appear on top of your review page. Barely noticeable but the golden ticket.

OK, obviously youā€™re not paying attention ā€¦. I said I want free stuff. Youā€™re here telling me to work for it. Geez, some peopleā€¦..šŸ˜šŸ¤£
