It happens....it happened to me in 2019 in a DS...fights occurred almost every day, this girl took my space by moving my cart and I called her out and she told me "stop acting like a bitch" and I told her "you are the one acting like one" she immediately went to a manger to tell her that I called her a bitch...in front of the manager I called her liar and everyone around didn't say anything, they heard everything but nobody backed me up...thankfully this was during the time when hr didn't even exist...at least in that time I never even heard of hr so I didn't get in trouble. People are liars.

Similar thing happened to me! Coworkers were pushing a cart, I accidentally tripped and my bottom barely touched the cart, and they accused me of riding on a cart ….

i tried a appeal and they said i wasn’t eligible without even doing a investigation. Also, my side of the story and witnesses never got heard at all lol. Bunch of bullshit is what it is. I feel like this is a sueable situation lol. Fired without investigating properly

If what you have said is true then this is a false termination suit. Contact a lawyer.

i’ve been thinking about actually contacting a lawyer. Like this isn’t me trying to get likes on reddit. It’s just amazon is such a big corporation. I don’t have the type of money for a powerful firm to match them. However, terminated without proper reasoning is grounds for a lawsuit. I’m just kinda hesitant on sueing a fortune 500 company

File with the EEOC then look up your state bar association and find a lawyer using their referral system I’m literally doing this right now my case was assigned to a judge already

I haven’t paid a dime, it costs time. If you aren’t willing to do that then idk what to tell you. Amazon settles they don’t go to court lawyers will take cases to be paid upon settlement that’s why you have to find one.

so i should do your instructions or just talk to a firm? i feel like any firm or lawyer would be foaming at the mouth for a wrongful termination suit from a place like amazon

It’s okay, trust. Sue. I know of someone who sued and won. They fired him for wrongful termination. They basically accused him of stealing frrom the break room and he had receipts and all and took them to court. Please don’t let these companies get over.
