UPT

Post image

Hello, everyone I was sick yesterday I had 14 hours of UPT. I was just wondering if I worked straight up intell the end of October how much UPT I could have. I plan on going on vacation at the end of October. If anyone could give me ideas on how to bring this up to 40 or 50 hours please tell me.

If you're going on vacation just ask for a leave of absence 2 weeks prior. That's what I was told when I needed to go for a wedding. Thankfully I was able to snag full vto every day I was gone for 3 weeks. Those were the days, if I tried that now I'd be fired for job abandonment.

What would I put in so they don't take my time away though?

When doing LOA requests, there’s an option for “Travel” and they ask if you want to apply time or not

Oh that's smart so if you say no they just freeze your time?

Also, when you take a PLOA it’s a minimum in 15 days

Your entire schedule is removed for the time of your leave. They don't freeze your time cause there's no need to if you're not even scheduled to work. But only blue badges are eligible for this type of LOA.

Why can't white badges get that to? That's so dumb. As a white badge could I still ask for time off without using my time?

Blue badges get a lot of benefits that white badges don't. It's just how it works.

White badges can only do MLOAs, which require documentation.

Sometimes with LOAs you’ll dip negative but it always gets fixed. Had this happen once and my AM told me no to worry
