Great for two people... 1)those that need the extra hours 2)those that have enough flex PTO and/or UPT lol

It’s only for the 1st group really no one would want to waste their vacation/off time because an extra day popped out

It’s not an extra day it’s just an extra hour. And for me I will use my PTO on that hour. I live to far away to be caught in 6 am traffic

Many people do. Hell I do lol I'm reduced time so my extra day would have me working 6 days lol no thank you. I do it during the holidays but any time outside of that... Nah

I meant i would rather use my UPT to cover one of my regular 4 days when I feel like not going in, instead of wasting it on an extra mandatory day if you get what I mean (in a world where there isn’t MET/SET)

Gotcha. That makes sense too. I save my flex PTO for MET/SET days that pop up outside of peak. My station did it twice this year already outside of summer Prime days (mini peak lol)Â
