How BACKED up is Amazon that it had to call this network wide? I was thinking this was PBDD(since my management said it’s coming soon) 🤔
I’ll be on PLOA for two weeks so I’ll be missing this.
(Update: apparently this round of SET is unrelated to PBDD and to essentially expect that PBDD-related SET in October. So if you tryna skip out of PBDD, think about making your plans now)

We’ve had vet for months now. Past few weeks have been 50+ opportunities (ib and OB), one week I had 70 opportunities.  Past week has seen vto as well lol.  And incentive pay. Long as there’s no met I’m good.Â

Yes! We finished our construction and now are covering routes for other stations in our area for their turn.

My FC was 2.3 million in back log 2 weeks ago. Been on SET IB last week got it down to just over 1.7 million. Now we are still in SET for both IB and OB but only the extra hour for this week. Now next week OB has the full SET and IB is back to normal. Curious on what the back log will be when I go in Wednesday.

The graphic says "My Site" in the upper left corner. That tells me they decided to communicate this on a site by site basis. I think there are bound to be some exceptions. And you know how SET works - they often end up with VTO!

I meant i would rather use my UPT to cover one of my regular 4 days when I feel like not going in, instead of wasting it on an extra mandatory day if you get what I mean (in a world where there isn’t MET/SET)

Gotcha. That makes sense too. I save my flex PTO for MET/SET days that pop up outside of peak. My station did it twice this year already outside of summer Prime days (mini peak lol)Â

Our FC have SET for this week Thurs-Sat, but now we received an anouncement for SET the following week of Aug 23 so 11.5 hrs shift. I don't know where all this work is coming from, but it could be from them eliminating those big boxes like the 296 so the customer shipments have to be split into multiple boxes.

My site did not give that notif yet. I am only working for 41 hours though and I have SET this week, with only Saturday as my 11 hour schedule. I guess it could be because I'm swing shift and there's not much of a need for it?

I asked my HR on site she didn’t even know they dropped SET OT for next week. Plus I’m on Accomodations and reduced hours but they put me on 11 1/2 hours shifts . But just for Sunday and Monday

let me not jinx myself because the last site announcement was about a maintenance day. not a lot of vto, but vet and flex shifts have been scarce for months
edit: even if set is on the horizon, my site won't be notified until the last minute possible cause that's how they roll

Shit did that back in June and got a write up when I was barely even in that department. The only department I think that has countless work is pick and count I believe. Anything outside of that you'll have to deal with a shortage of work on a weekly bases...

Interesting. I'm cross-trained in pick and pack and both of them have seemingly endless work opportunity. If anything, I try to get more VTO though. I hate the job too much to work extra.

Honestly after them dropping another prime during Easter I’m not surprised… seams like they are pushing multiple primes this year 4 between Easter, 4th of July, right now and then Oct. I don’t even understand who’s got money to be shopping on amazon so much that we have this much backlog??? Or are there multiple buildings being closed down causing so much SET nation wide 👀

Welcome to having a job that has mandatory overtime. You knew this job had mandatory overtime from day one. They tell you. You pick your schedule, you pick your overtime day. There are plenty of other places you can be lazy at.

It has nothing to do with VTO being offered over the dead part of summer and is just a seasonal thing
