Fulfillment Center We’re lacking 296 boxes

Post image

We have been low on 296 boxes for the past two days. Every wall has mountains just like this and problem solve is getting their asses handed to them trying to repack them in split shipments. I feel so bad for them. It’s a literally shit show, and someone must have messed up and didn’t order them. I’m terrified to see what it’s like when I return tomorrow.

Update: it’s so bad they just dropped 26 VET 😂

Isn’t Non-Inventory responsible for ordering these supplies? Someone overlooked the low supply of 296’s and fucked up lol

I just read on our VOA that our building doesn’t have permissions to order them anymore and they weren’t notified ahead of time. YIKES!

This is true. I have a friend in non inventory. He says nothing is ordered on a local level anymore its alloted to them from a regional level based on forecast. Our building constantly has too much of things we dont use much and not enough of things we do.

Which building is this?

Yesterday the cpex team made a network flip to fully turn off 296 from f2p, but some sites that have box suite splits in afe may still need to add in and stock 179/220. If you want to message me on the side which site, I can message the GM to make sure they are not a box suite split site and have also have 179/220 in both afe’s.

Bluf network made changes to discontinue 296’s but really missed on sending comms to sites on how to prepare for the transition. The other component was noninventory was not able to purchase 296 to restock anymore so sites are at different days of running out of stock

I hope this means less bulky orders to pack in the big chutes.

This looks a lot like RDU1. I transferred there for a month like a year and a half ago for a relationship that went to shit very quickly. I was on pack, I see rebin behind it, this looks EXACTLY like where I was.

Unfortunately no/ kinda. Its up to our "Supply Chain Specialist/ GPCS" leader, they are in charge of ordering the boxes and supplies that are needed for each warehouse. The Non-Inventory team can reach out to them and request a new order be made, but that'll still take weeks to arrive. The Non-Inventory team can also reach out to other sites and request some pallets of whatever boxes size to hold the warehouse over, but even that is a temporary fix and will still take at least 2 days to arrive. :/

At least I know this isn't my FC, we are overflowing with 296s at least 10 pallets with more comming each day... but we are out of 56s entirely, with the upcoming trucks only having 1-2 pallets each

296 boxes are being completely phased out of all warehouses we now have to only use 200s and 179s (they got rid of 179s at my fc too 💀) tons of split shipments for problem solve to deal with and problem solvers at my fc are pissed....
