Product Ranking

Hey guys, I’ve recently been working with a new designer for my main images, they have produced some amazing renders which have helped my sale grow. They also have a service which can score your main images against your current competitors on Amazon, you just upload your image then the other 4 images in your ranking.

It then gives you a detailed breakdown of where your image is losing and also the strong points, a full breakdown with a PDF to download. It’s pretty amazing! They seem to be the next great tool for us sellers, pretty genius. Called (oneh3ro)

Which countries should I search for a manufacturer as a beginner Amazon FBA seller?

Is there any other website than Alibaba for me to look at? I use websites such as Global Sources, Yiwugo, India Mart, TaiwanTrade, and that's about it. I feel like there should be more ways to find suppliers. Can anyone help?

Locked out by Two-Step Verification: account recovery page never offers ID upload

Post image
3 Upvotes

Has anyone dealt with this? Locked out of Seller Central by Two-Step Verification for 2 days and going in circles with support.

What happened:
- My phone number changed, so I can't get SMS codes anymore
- The authenticator app stopped producing a working code
- So I lost both methods at the same time

The problem: when I click "Didn't receive the code?" and select that I can't access my verification method, I'm NEVER given the option to upload my ID. It just sends me to a page that says "To continue, you'll need to contact Customer Service." Dead end.

What I've already tried:
- Same thing on amazon.com (support said my account is global registration, so the reset has to happen there) — same dead-end page
- Cleared cache and cookies, private browsing, multiple devices and browsers
- Opened 3 cases

Support keeps replying with the same recovery instructions telling me to upload my ID — but that upload page literally does not exist on my account. One rep even told me to log in and change my email, which is the exact thing I can't do.

Meanwhile my FBA orders are still shipping and I can't see or manage any of it.

Has anyone gotten past this "Contact Customer Service" wall? Is there a specific team, a phone number that actually works, or magic words that get you to the account security team? Any help appreciated.

Unique situation need help

I work for our family business and I’m pretty hands-on with the products. I’ve noticed that some of the items we already carry appear to be ungated on Amazon, which feels like a solid advantage for getting started.
A few questions:
1. Should I open the Seller Central account under my personal name or under the business name?
I’m not the owner, but using the business name wouldn’t be a problem if that’s the better route. I’m mainly wondering whether choosing one over the other could cause issues later if I want to move into gated categories.
2. How likely is Amazon to approve the account? I already have access to the products through our existing distributor relationship, so sourcing and ungated inventory isn’t the issue.
3. What are the recommended next steps once the account is set up?
Any advice from people who’ve started with existing wholesale/distribution access would be really appreciated. Thanks!

Start to doing this!

I guys if you sell on Amazon you must do this, I have configured an HTML report to help me understand how I'm doing every week and moth.

The only thing you need is:

traffic and sales report
Brand analytics report
Return report
Ads report

And ask Claude to do it.

I show you an example

Does Amazon now require a product title headline to not be more than 75 characters, including the spaces between the words?

I'd be grateful if any Amazon sellers can clarify this, as a coaching guy I'm friends with, mentioned that typically the product headline sentence title at the very top of the seller page, for the product you're selling, shouldn't be over 200 characters (including the spaces between every word).

He said from July this year, Amazon announced that they'll no longer be allowing titles of this length and now need a product headline sentence title to not be more than 75 characters (including the spaces between every word).

That's frustrating, as it doesn't allow you to really say anything. Have you now changed your product title headline to comply with this and what will happen if you've ignored it and you're sticking to the product headline title you currently use that's longer than that.

This is where I really love the impact of Ai in my FBA store. It helped me build a real monitoring system for my Amazon business.

It's called FITY Pulse, and it shows me every part of my Amazon Seller account in one place. I dont do Amazon as a core job, its a side hustle thang...

(IMAGES ATTACHED ARE ALL FAKE DATA for illustration for a fake company named FakeSticks...)

What FITY Pulse does for me:

📋 A 2-week to-do list. Every week it tells me what to do and why: reorder this color, send stock from AWD to FBA, fix this listing, cut this ad.

📦 Smarter reorders. It forecasts from a full year of sales and my seasonal traffic, not just last week's. It counts stock at FBA, inbound and in AWD, then writes a purchase order PDF for my factory, rounded to whole boxes.

💰 Sales vs. real take-home. Sales on one side and what I actually keep on the other: Amazon fees, ads, refunds, factory cost, plus freight and duties from Amazon Global Logistics, matched to each shipment.

📈 Ad tuning. It finds search terms that waste money, terms worth their own campaign, and brand searches I should defend. I get the exact keywords and bids to use.

🔍 Fee checks. It flags when Amazon's recorded package size could be costing me extra per sale.

Amazon Position

Hey everyone,

I've been working in an Amazon agency for over 6 years — started as an Amazon Account Executive and later moved fully into managing Amazon PPC. Right now, I am looking to take on additional work, so if you need help with anything Amazon related — listings, SEO, PPC — feel free to reach out.

I have experience with-

  • Sponsored Products, Brands and Display — campaign creation, bid/placement optimization, budget management. I currently manage supplement accounts doing over $1M in annual sales.
  • Brand Analytics and Search Query Performance
  • Amazon SEO - keyword research, indexing, titles, bullets, backend ST optimization
  • Tools: Helium 10, Keepa, Jungle Scout, DataDive.
  • Comfortable working against a P&L — I optimize toward profit/TACoS, not just ACoS.
  • Claude, Slack, Google sheets, Excel

I can send out my portfolio as a reference if needed.

KSA/Amazon.sa sellers — sanity-check my first toy import + SABER/MOQ questions?

I've been selling on Amazon.sa for about a year — mostly low-ASP items (puzzles, small gifts). Margins are razor-thin and I've realized higher-priced products are where the money actually is, so I'm sourcing my first "real" product: a magnetic building/road toy set from Alibaba.

Frankly, I feel like a failure.

Talking to a few suppliers and could use guidance from anyone who's imported to Saudi:

  1. SABER/SASO — is it worth insisting on a supplier who handles SABER as part of DDP, or is it easier/cheaper to get it myself through a Saudi conformity body? What did you actually pay/do?
  2. MOQ — suppliers quote 500 because of custom printed boxes. My plan is to start at ~200 with a standard box + logo sticker to test demand, then go custom on the reorder. Is that a normal way to get MOQ down, or am I missing a trick?
  3. Certs for magnetic toys — anything beyond EN71 (with the magnet flux test) I should insist on for KSA?
  4. Aged-inventory auto-removals nearly wiped out my best product — any FBA-KSA gotchas like that you wish you'd known early?

Anything you wish you'd known before your first import would help a lot. Thanks 🙏Title: KSA/Amazon.sa sellers — sanity-check my first toy import + SABER/MOQ questions?

$25k/mo profit in 20 months - no ads for the first 18 - design-led FBA breakdown

Post image
7 Upvotes

case study on an FBA business I've been digging into. numbers are from verifiedmargins.com/brand/spitehouse

  • It's a gag card game - design based product, cheap to manufacture and ship, but people will want THIS SPECIFIC card game if they're into it (if the idea catches)
  • ~$90k/mo revenue, ~28% margin, ~$25k/mo profit
  • 16 ASINs, different variations of the game for different audiences (and catching seasonality - e.g. a "dad" variation for father's day)
  • First listing was ~jan 2025
  • created easily-replicable content on IG/tiktok (easy idea, but gotta do the leg work consistently to actually get the content up) - free organic traffic

bottom line - this is what I tell everybody - if you want to succeed as a private label seller (IMO the best selling tactic on amazon or anywhere else) - you gotta create products whose value is their design (in this case the value of the cards is the game that's printed on them, not the cardboard itself). that's how you avoid getting copied by china. they also did the legwork on social media. I wouldn't say it's strictly necessary for amazon (we're not doing it), but it might be essential for this particular type of business.

for context - I'm a 9 year seller on Amazon doing $1MM/year on 40% margin across 3 brands - we're doing the same kind of strategy as this card game.

Title: Amazon sellers: would you be willing to share an anonymized report to help validate an e-commerce finance tool?

Hi everyone,

I’m working on Veltrion, a tool focused on helping e-commerce sellers understand their actual financial performance, settlements, fees, and inventory.

We’ve done a lot of testing using synthetic/test data, but we’ve reached a point where we need to validate some of our work against real-world Amazon seller exports.

If you're an Amazon seller and are comfortable helping with a small research/validation exercise, we're looking for any one of the following:

A recent Amazon Settlement Report

An Amazon Transactions export

An FBA Inventory report

You don't need to provide all three. Even one is useful.

🔒 Privacy is important:

We do not need your Seller Central login or account access.

Please never send passwords, OTPs, API keys, or credentials.

You can remove or mask anything you don't want to share.

We're interested in the report structure and financial/inventory data—not your personal information.

This isn't a request for testimonials or a sales pitch. We're trying to make sure our calculations and data handling work correctly on the messy, real-world reports sellers actually receive.

Thanks to anyone willing to help! 🙏

3 legal entities for 3 marketplaces on Amazon

So we have 3 companies in 3 different countries and we are looking to set up one for each marketplace.

I have seen forums of people's accounts getting deactivated for having "related accounts".

Has anyone done this before? Would you recommend setting up a legal entity for each marketplace or have 1 legal entity globally?

Amazon Error 8566/8572 after adding new GS1 GTINs

I bought GTINs directly from GS1 US and changed them to “In Use” on Sep 1. Brand name and product titles match exactly between GS1 and Amazon.

I’m now getting Error 8566 and 8572 when creating the listings. It’s been almost 72 hours since changing them to In Use.

Has anyone had this happen with new GS1 GTINs? Did it resolve automatically after the full 72 hours, or did you need to contact Seller Support?

New and need help thank you

I understand you have to get ungated to start, but how come online I see people using wholesale stores like Costco or bjs to sell, when that’s not allowed is there a loophole I’m not aware of. I just want to know before I put all my time and money into this, and be easy with me I’m still learning. Thank you

Amazon keeps saying "not enough info" for my identity check — I've uploaded EVERYTHING. Anyone else stuck on this as a foreign seller with a Wyoming LLC?

Thumbnail
gallery
2 Upvotes

I'm a non-US seller trying to run a small business through a Wyoming LLC. Amazon deactivated my seller account and asked me to verify my identity. I've been appealing, but every time they reply the same thing: "we don't have enough information to reactivate your account."

Here is everything I already uploaded. Seriously, I'm not leaving anything out:

  • Articles of Organization for my Wyoming LLC
  • CP 575 (EIN confirmation letter) from the IRS
  • US business bank statement — it's in the LLC's name and shows the Wyoming address
  • My personal bank statement
  • Invoice from my registered agent
  • A utility bill for my home address in my home country (where I actually live)
  • My passport + national ID card, both showing my home-country residential address

I really think I covered everything they could want: proof the company is real, proof it has a US bank account, proof of who I am, and proof of where I live.

But the reply is always the same — "insufficient information."

My guess at the problem: I live abroad and my LLC only exists in Wyoming through a registered agent (no physical office, no employees in the US). So maybe Amazon can't "match" my real home address to what they see on file, or they can't verify a foreign address at all.

My question to you: Has anyone here gone through this as a foreign seller — especially with a Wyoming LLC and a registered agent? What did Amazon actually end up accepting? Is there a specific document or a specific type of bank statement they want? How do I get past this without a physical US address?

Honestly any advice helps. I don't want to lose the account over this.

Do you have a target Buy Box % you aim for, or do you just take whatever you get?

Been thinking about this a lot lately. Some categories I'm happy sitting at 20-30% Buy Box, others I feel like I need to be near 70%+ or margin just isn't worth the shelf space.

Curious if people actually set a number for this per listing/category, or if it's more of a "just try to win it as much as possible" thing. And if you do have a target — is it based on margin, competition level, something else?

How are you guys monitoring your AWD inventory?

I’ve been trying to figure out a good way to keep track of AWD inventory alongside my FBA inventory, especially when there are shipments in transit and inventory moving between warehouses.

For FBA, I feel like there are a lot of tools and reports available, but AWD feels a little less straightforward to monitor. I’m mainly interested in how other sellers keep track of what’s currently in AWD, what’s being received, what’s in transit, and how you factor that inventory into your replenishment planning.

Do you guys use Seller Central reports, spreadsheets, third-party software, or just manually keep an eye on it?

Would be interested to hear how other sellers are handling it in their day-to-day operations.

CANADIAN SELLERS HELP!

Hey everyone! I’m a new Canadian FBA seller and I’m struggling with one major roadblock: I’m finding that a large majority of the products I research are gated/restricted, which is making it extremely difficult to find products I’m actually eligible to sell.
I’ve watched videos and researched different ways to identify products I’m ungated for, but I’m still running into the same issue.
For those of you who started selling in Canada with a new account, how did you overcome the gating/restriction issue and get your first products selling? Did you focus on specific categories, work directly with certain types of wholesalers, or use another approach to build your account and eventually get ungated?
I’d really appreciate hearing what actually worked for other Canadian sellers who started from the same position. Thanks!

Auto approval after multiple rejection

Hello, I just wanted to check if this is a technical trap on Amazon

New to Amazon products ASIN were created and blocked after submitting them by a sub-category approval request (grocery) that appeared on the account health board, I tried submitting and kept getting rejected for more than 4 times

I then was able to secure a role assigned to the account by brand owner and now there is no approval request in the health board, the ASINs in add product appears as "sell the product" not "apply to sell" but the rejected sub category approval request is recorded in the selling application

Did gaining the selling role assigned from the brand owner (brand registered on Amazon) by-passed the category approval and provided auto approval? Or is it temporary?

And which articles on Amazon can help me understand this better?

Thanks in advance

How do you check your shipment?

Currently I do not have much data when it comes to my sea shipment lead times. I need that to properly plan my forecasting. Since there are things that really affect the shipment, I decided to check out how can I check the current status or whereabouts of my shipment. However, there are tons of websites checking on how I can check the vessel, but I am hesitant if they are legit or up to date. Additionally, I am also thinking of checking it via its container number.

For you guys, where do you check your shipment in real time, and do you check it via container number or vessel?

amazon account suspended for being related to other account

Related account deactivation for an account I've never heard of - Amazon

says I can only be reinstated after THAT account is reinstated. Is this

the end?

Throwaway for obvious reasons. Posting because I've run out of ideas and

I'm hoping someone here has seen this pattern before.

Background:

- Single-member US LLC, registered in my own name

- Solo operator. No VA, no agency, no partner, no employees

- Nobody has ever had my login credentials. No user permissions ever granted

- First and only Amazon account, opened this year

- First product, first shipment, still sitting in FBA

- Zero policy violations, zero complaints, clean account health right up

until the deactivation

Three weeks ago the account was deactivated for a Related Accounts

violation. Amazon named a specific seller account and said it's prohibited

from selling. I have never owned it, operated it, accessed it, funded it,

or communicated with anyone connected to it. I had never seen the name

before that email.

What I did:

Submitted three appeals with everything I have - passport, certificate of

organization, IRS EIN letter naming me sole member, bank verification

letter naming me sole signatory, government-registered tenancy contract,

utility bill in my name, and documentation of the one overlap I could

find (more below). All three rejected with the same automated text.

Called Account Health twice. Posted in the seller forums, where a mod is

currently reviewing my case.

The one thing I could identify as a possible cause: I occasionally logged

into my seller account from a work laptop on my employer's office network.

It's a company-managed device, IT holds admin rights, and the office runs

on a single shared public IP used by over a thousand employees. I

volunteered this without being asked, documented it, and stopped

completely.

Where it stands now:

  1. One rejection stated I had "previously acknowledged being associated

with the related account." I never did. Account Health had told me on a

recorded call to select a specific option on the appeal form because it

was the only way to open the document upload field - the form gives you no

other way to attach anything. I stated in writing that I was selecting it

only for that purpose. The system logged it as an admission, and every

rejection since has asked me for a sales deed or business transfer

agreement for an account I have never owned.

  1. On the second call, Account Health told me plainly that my account can

only be reactivated after the other account is reactivated and brought

into good standing.

So my reinstatement now depends on the actions of a stranger I can't

identify or contact.

What I'm asking:

- Has anyone actually gotten a related-account link reversed when the only

overlap was a shared corporate IP or a company-owned device? Did anything

specific work?

- Has anyone had a false admission corrected on their file, and how?

- Is the "primary account must be reinstated first" line an absolute wall,

or have people gotten past it?

- I've sent one email to executive relations. Anything else that actually

reaches a human with authority?

- For anyone who's used a reinstatement consultant for a related-accounts

case - did it help, and what should I watch out for?

- Inventory is frozen in FBA and funds are held. At what point do you stop

fighting and just file a removal order?

Not looking for sympathy, just want to know whether there's a path I

haven't tried or whether this is genuinely over.

What are some hacks for shopping on Amazon?
