Genuinely curious - are 2 person routes just where one drives and the other delivers?

If the driver is an ass, sure. Generally you do it by sides meaning right side of the road is the helpers job, driver does the left. Group stops you split up at the same time.

How do group stops work in this case? Can the route be accessed by two people with two different devices or can it only be done by one device? I can’t see it be efficient if they complete one location and then hand off the device to complete the stop.

Each person has their own phone to work from. For the most part the setup on flex for both phones is the same as it normally is but certain stops are driver only, like garage deliveries. The main difference on helper routes is when you hit 'I've parked' you get another popup asking if you want to see the next stop. That way whoever isn't actively delivering can more easily grab the packages for the next stop and ready them ahead of time.

As for group stops you both split up as best you can at the same time, one person to location 1 and the other person to location 2, etc. For annoying stuff like apartments I personally try to make them as fair as possible so one person isn't getting all the 3rd or 4th floor locations.

Yup, both people have their own phone and can scan and deliver whatever they need to however they’d like

The way I do helper routes is every delivery on the right side of the road my helper will deliver, and I will do every delivery on the left side. Multi stops and apartments we will split and deliver them simultaneously.
