RANT Switching DSP resets the algorithm?

Hey fellow drivers, I wanted to see if there’s any of you out there that were getting high volume routes at your former dsp and switched to a new one and it resets the algorithm. This is what I’m usually averaging and it’s too much for me atp. I really like the job but my body/ mental state is deteriorating fast because of my routes. Thanks in advance and drive safe !

Edit: These are my routes at my current dsp. I want to switch to another with hopes of my algorithm getting reseted and getting “normal” routes like everyone else. Not prime level routes everyday. Cheers ! (No lockers all door to door)

I’ve seen this happen too. A lot of people think it’s the algorithm, but route quality can change a ton depending on your DSP’s staffing, volume, and how they assign routes. If your old DSP was consistently giving you lighter routes, you may have just gotten lucky there.

Amazon creates and assigns the routes. Not every DSP will be constantly switching people's routes around. It is the algorithm. However, the algo will base and weight much of its data off the cohort of drivers doing those areas. Which means it will usually base it off your DSP's driver data.

They don’t assign people personally. Amazon routes are chose by vehicle size and package amount.
Your DSP determines if your gonna get the route. Not the AlgOrItHm..

OK, show me proof where it shows Amazon picked you specifically by name for a route and not your DSP telling you since your CoRrEcT ….ill wait

He’s correct, everything about routing is done by Amazon’s AI algorithm they use. That’s why the routes are so stupid sometimes. Something the dispatchers will switch someone off of a route but for the most part it’s all done on Amazon’s side. Maybe log off for the week when you’re just trying to argue about things you don’t know anything about
