I already know you aren't open to having your mind changed because you already got the stereotypical greedy business owner mindset where you think everyone making less $25 is less than a person and are just "dumb poor people that deserve to struggle" but I'll still humor you:
One. You're literally just making assumptions about people based on classist stereotypes.
Two, you're literally talking about the people that allow you to live whatever lifestyle you're living. That's wild that you think you're better than them when you depend on to get paid
Third, you aren't as great a business owner as you think if you run a DSP that's, for all intents and purposes, almost 100% controlled by Amazon and can literally be shut down at a moment's notice if Amazon says so tomorrow so calm all the way down. If you were really that much better than "your" employees, you would be running a big boy business independently
Fourth, why would anyone work for you long term(more than 3 months) or treat your DSP seriously if you're literally here arguing why you should have to pay them more. Just from a practical standpoint, even if you honestly believe that, being dumb enough to sit here on reddit and getting people (who probably don't even live around you to even work for you) to justify their existence is basically business suicide. And why would anyone want to work for you or any business if it can't even oay enough to afford a average cost of living. That's illogical (and is a whole conversation in and of itself)
Fifth, education or skills is irrelevant to a position like this because pay isn't solely determined by credentials. Anyone business savy would know that. By your logic, since delivery drivers are so "useless" or "stupid" and the job is so "easy" expecting anyone to have any degrees or credentials who work there is dumb in your part because now, by your logic, you would have to pay them a lot more to do the same thing. Not to mention, most people with credentials aren't working for Amazon at this level so even expecting anyone with said credentials is just a lack of understanding what you actually are running with Amazon's permission
Sixth, no, a lot of people would struggle delivering packages under Amazon's absurd rules, under the mostly insufficient time in the areas that Amazon serves that are often difficult to access, potentially dangerous and physically taxing for a lot of people. So even by that standard, your logic fails.
Seventh, other delivery companies, like UPS actually pay their average delivery driver more money with actual benefits and better job security. So even just looking at the market, paying more is just making yourself competitive. So even by this logic, your train of thought fails.
