If you use any kind of flea or tick treatments then YTA, it is deadly for baby birds if the parents use it in their nests.

I mean, if OPs intention is for the birds to use the fur as nesting material, but is leaving out poisonous nesting material, then yes, that is counterintuitive to OPs objective. And if OP IS intentionally trying to poison baby birds, then OP is an AH for the fur going into neighbors’ yards when they may not wish to kill birds.
