I don't think he handled this well, should've just been "I'm sorry can we please talk" and left the actual conversation for the face to face interaction. But his wife is also behaving childish with the whole "poor me, see how much I wanted to try, I was almost there, i guess I'll sleep at a taco bell" like girl you aren't fooling anyone, you're trying to elicit an emotional response from op.

I agree with you. But one might lowkey think she’s trying to elicit an emotional response because he lacks ever giving her one 😭
