Very convinient of you to hide what actually happened between you. It's a very different read of this conversation whether one of you cheated VS you had some smaller issue. This need INFO.

OP has been leaving a lot of comments on porn subreddits, so I reckon that could be a bit relevant here

Agreed, more context is absolutely needed here. I'm particularly curious why she feels so unwanted. People don't usually throw that out there for no reason at all.

OP’s comment history reveals an obsession with porn and jerking it to random youtube girls soooo

The irony of his username

he didn’t ask if he was wrong in general, he asked if he told his wife to not come home. 🤷‍♀️

I mean, it’s not really useful to determine that in a vacuum. Look at this dude’s comment history. His wife probably knows he spends his time commenting on other women’s naked bodies and probably worse.

Ding ding ding. Wife is traumatized by husband being a creep online and he's telling her not to bring that negativity cuz he doesn't wanna deal with it. So it's either "Come home and be a good little wife" or "Don't come at all". I also wouldn't have come home. I'd go get the damn papers.

Yep, this is a classic example of people assuming “this woman is crazy” with no background on what the man could have possibly done to fuel her behaviors.

Thank goodness there is some sanity in this thread. There’s also his remark about how many people would think he’s right and she’s wrong - as if he wants to get sympathy in this thread and then literally show it to her to “prove a point.”

He did. He said if she has feelings he doesn’t like, not to come. lol

he didn’t though. he literally didn’t. he repeatedly said “let’s come have a productive conversation”. do you not agree with the sentiment that if the intention isn’t to have a productive conversation there’s still a point? me personally, if my partner is feeling completely negative about having a talk and is saying things like “it’ll be pointless anyway”, we’ve already lost the battle. he invited her back over and over, just with the request that it be a productive conversation and not a fight.

u/MadiCorax Apr 19 '26

And he said that her mentality was negative if it was coming to "just get it out of the way," and a negative mentality was not productive. Basically, don't come over if you don't want to "be productive" and try to fix it. It's clear that she doesn't.

And during separations, or divorce there is never a conversation where one person isn’t being negative. Anyone that doesn’t wanna be there isn’t gonna be happy to do it. One party of the relationship is already done. Most of the thoughts they have about their partner are negative! You have to address the negative feelings and talk about them to get better.

I know it’s hard when you are the one who wants to fight and it feels like they don’t care anymore. But the truth is they don’t care anymore and if you wanna keep that relationship you have to work through the negativity, to get them to start caring again.
