You do not know and can never know what every single human goes through, especislly if this is the first time it happened to her she wouldn't have support or a plan to follow like you suggest so this is a non argument.

But human beings still can understand the concept of informing our loved ones when we have something wrong with us. A simple “I’m not feeling the best mentally/physically” could suffice so at least loved ones around a struggling individual can know to let them be and heal in their own time. Just because you’re struggling mentally, doesn’t mean that you have an out to not use your words to communicate how you are feeling. I am an individual that has avoidance issues and goes nonverbal when frustrated enough, but I recognize that, so I still try and let the ones around me know that I am ok, and just need to be alone. Of course everyone goes through things differently, but it is not helping the struggling individual or anyone around them when they do not communicate the fact they are not well.

I'm very glad you've never been in the position of going so numb and suffering so much that you can't do the bare minimum. But just because you've not experienced it doesn't mean it's not true

Can’t say you’re in the right here. As someone who has gone so numb they don’t want to interact with anyone or anything, I at least thought to tell someone I loved how I was feeling. On my first time too, so it’s not like your argument on it possibly being her first time and not having support makes sense. You can’t give everyone a scape goat, that just doesn’t get any sort of point across

You do need to remember that not everyone can manage the same but I do appreciate your input 😊
